Here's the new trailer:
And what can I say, the second trailer is kinda better than the first. I'm so hyped.

although connected is generic for this movie, but I felt sony animation could reuse the connected for another project for maybe a adult animated series?Looks pretty funny. However I feel like this trailer reveals too much about the movie. Anyway, this one is a lot better than the previous one for cinemas in terms of what it wants to tell. And the title seems to be the original again, which is much better than the generic "Connected". That said, maybe not going to theaters have benefits the film on decisions like title and other creative questions? Would that make up for not going to theaters?
There likely won't be a TV (preferrably streaming, so they can get away with more and last longer, IMHO.) series unless this fillm does well enough to justify more adventures, nice as the idea sounds. Eithet way, as much as I admire the optimism, this movie needs to be good by itself, first and foremost, for me myself to want more out of it, even if all said and done by the movie's end, honestly.I still prefer the previous title Connected over The Mitchells vs. The Machines since that title would fit better as a possible sequel TV series IMO.
The movie is now certified as Fresh at 96% on RottenTomatoes.
look like the film broke a recordDamn. Mitchells vs the Machines rated higher than any WDAS movie in past 25 years.
Yeah. Forget Rotten Tomatoes!I don’t think the movie deserves that high of a score, like maybe 85%-90%, but I love the message about family, and the visuals were great!
Sony Pictures Animation is quickly becoming one of the best feature animation studios in the US!

Yeah. Forget Rotten Tomatoes!
(IMHO) This film is Mid High Tier at best (7 to 8.4/10), especially if you've seen this kind of story before, braced to High Tier (8.5 to 9.4/10), simply by the visual representation and execution. I mean, the message they're going for with it is legit sincere and believeable, no question, but come on, now - "cell phones bad, newer technology not any better" is not anything to be shouting home about, no matter how old you are, honestly. Especially when you realize the IRL complications and mixed blessings of it all, after too long. Dont get me wrong: Good film, haphazard message, unfortunately, that needs to sit its butt down, already.
You really think the film was promoting an anti-Big Tech message? On Netflix?
Pal was an exaggeration of fears of technology separating us as people and taking over the world. But we can defeat it by working as a family.
Good film. Beautiful animation. Well done.

Both of you don't get me wrong in that I still enjoyed the film well enough... That was just my interpretation of it, unfortunate as it is to admit for me. Thankfully, the film is good enough to overcome it from feeling too forced, so that's a positive in its favor for me, if not too much else, as everything else is solid enough for the message about family and keeping it together, especially.Yeah, there's a huge difference between bringing up concerns about how technology overreach can backfire horrifically and "phone bad", and I didn't feel the movie did that at all. It wasn't even the major theme, but more about miscommunication and misunderstanding between family members.
But yeah, it was a pretty good movie. Not every gag worked for me and a couple even deflated from emotional moments, but I had tons of fun still. I'm really liking the more stylized CGI animation recent movies have shown.
Grey DeLisle Griffin revealed how she did placeholder dialogue for Linda before the part was handed over to Maya Rudolph. She does at least get a minor role in the movie.
