FOXnet was a cable channel that aired from 1991 to 2006 in areas that didn't have a local FOX affiliate. That didn't apply to me, so I didn't know about it, until after the fact.

Anyway, I've been trying to research and compile schedules of it. So far, I've posted info for the first six months of it, but there will be more.


I really want to find things taped off the air, because there are some shows (for example, "Jane", kids shows) that the newspapers never listed any episode info for.

As Foxnet used the clean network feed, there was no local news, this was instead replaced with syndicated programming or a news bulletin from Fox News. For the local ads allocation that was usually handled by the affiliate, ads were inserted at the local cable company, or national cheap/filler ads were shown.

Foxnet was made obsolete as digital multicasting allowed more capacity in smaller markets.
 
something tells me that if upn & the wb didnt merged, foxnet would been replaced by mynetworktv
