TALKBACK - Regular Show - "Cheer Up Pops" & "A Regular Show Epic Final" -*SERIES FINALE* - [1/16]

The show had a good run. Congrats to JG Quintel. They ended it on their terms. Nothing wrong with that.

You know out of all the side characters I never would think Eileen would make it to the end

I am going to miss Mordecai and Rigby's Adventures at the park and the 80's music. The song at the End reminds me to miss Bowie even more and R.I.P. Pops. You will surely be missed. 8 Seasons and a Movie, another great CN show gone, but not forgotten. Thanks for all this, JG. "It's anything but."

September 6, 2010 - January 16, 2017.

I don't like the fact that the characters that got erased by Anti-Pops didn't show up at the end. It would've been nice to see if they came back to life.

It also would've been nice to see C.J., Nikolai and some of their other allies (God of Basketball, Sad Sax, Quips, The Guy Who Thinks He's A Knight, etc.) one last time.

My only issue with this season is that Eileen was wasted. She went to space with the rest of the crew, yet she had practically no focus while everyone else had at least one episode centered around them.

Regardless, this was a heck of an amazing finale to cap off the series. This was a great 6 years and I'm going to miss this surreal and fun show. I'd rank this among one of Cartoon Network's best originals.

Good show.

Well all the characters san Mordecai and Rigby suffered the same fate, so since characters like Bensen, Muscle Man and Eileen came back, so I assume they are okay. Tell me I am not alone in think Blu Ray is hot.

Am I the only one who think C.J. became a lesbian.

Amazing Final Episodes :D
I will indeed miss this show, the fight scenes were great and the return of The Power from the First Episode

And so it ends, one of the shows that helped CN regain it's identity. Hard to believe it's been almost 7 years since it premiered.

Though RS was never a story driven series the finale really did capture all the character growth these across the seasons. It's sad to see it go, but I'm happy it got a true conclusive ending.

So long Regular Show, you were a novelty when you began, who became a trendsetter, and finally a treasure.

I really liked the ending the first two parts were okay, sure had funny moments but the real grasp of the show was the third act, I liked how meta they went and how touching was that final it ended like what one would expect on a final.

Overall it gets an A from me, but the only thing I didn't like was how they even put in Margaret on that one scene she really didn't much and could of been avoided IMO.

That had to be one of the most meta, fourth wall shattering ways to end a show.

I'm not sure what else there is to say, but they really went all out with this one. Several old characters came back, which was nice to see even if it was only for a brief period of time. Some of the scenes even had noticeably bumped up animation! Even if the show has had its low points throughout its run, it still managed to bring in a new renaissance of originals for Cartoon Network alongside Adventure Time, so it's still bittersweet to see it go. I'd say this is as good a sendoff as you could give it.

Man. It's strange to think both of those shows premiered when I was still in high school. Now Regular Show is done, and Adventure Time is next in 2018. It really does feel like the end of an era.

Speaking of meta, when reality started falling apart and they were breaking the 4th wall I was hoping that it meant that at the end they'd realize they were all in a TV show and they'd pull a Batman: The Brave and The Bold ending with the sets being taking away, a wrap party with EVERY character that ever appeared, and Mordecai and Rigby saying goodbye to the audience. Instead it was a slightly disappointing ending.

Given it's content, I'm not surprised there wasn't a reference to 2A.M. in the P.M. but it would've been nice to get a little nod to it.

"Nah, they're probably fine." --Rigby

So ends an era. I remember seeing it for the first time in 2010 complete with swearing. It'll be viewed as a classic.

At least Regular Show knew how and when to bow out gracefully - and on a God Tier note all the way. RIP, soldier - you performed valiantly and looked awesome doing it, too.

That finale was something alright, I am glad the show ended off on a fairly high note. I love how they references some of JG Quintel's old work like the Naive Man in Lolliland. Plus, I was kind of disappointed that they Killed Pops to save their world, also sort of bummed out that Mordecai and Margaret didn't hug or get back together after (I'm going to admit, I shipped these two when I was watching it in Middle School) so, yeah didn't care for that bat-looking girl for sure. I'm also glad that Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man have kids of their own, and it went by a span of Twenty-Five years. And what really made me happy was Pops watching it all from the Clouds Above, and saying Jolly Good Show. They even played David Bowie's Heroes at the end too.

I can be glad to say that this series had it's ups and downs. the First Season to me was okay but the show really kicked off around Season 2, Again I hoped that Mordecai would be together with Margaret in the end, but oh well. The Characters weren't one dimensional they each had something going for each other, which interested me a lot. I wish Cartoon Network would have aired more reruns near the end of the show's lifespan because other CN internation channels cared about it a bit more than the US did, and that's disappointing, they didn't even air a Marathon on the show's finale either which I can't forgive them for. I can safe to say that this is one of my most Favorite Cartoon Networks shows of this decade, probably all time , and the Memories i had watching when I was in the 7th Grade in Middle School, I'll never forget.
