When Ben grows impatient with the snail like pace of gardening, he goes O-E Overflow to pick up the pace and accidentally floods the community garden, but once a giant sink hole appears and frees King Koil and his Kimodo Dragon from below, Ben must quickly right his wrong and capture the baddies if he is to save the coastal city of Bayburgh.

Ben 10 "Fear The Fogg"

So upon Gwen speculating that the creature feeds on energy, Ben hits it with an energy blast? Did I mention Ben was a cretin? Because it's going to come up on the test.

Disappointed we never learned where the fog monster actually came from. ***.

Ben 10 "Super-Villain Team-Up"

The animation for the spaceship ray effects was underwhelming. The animation of Vilgax chasing Ben around the ship was cool.

Found it a bit refreshing that the villain team-up wasn't actually defeated by petty bickering. That is the default of kids shows, especially THIS show, so I'm glad they went in a different direction.

The best of this week's episodes. ****.

Ben 10 "Can I Keep It?"

Nothing tells you how bad a guy Dr. Animo is like when he admits that he actually LIKES experimenting on animals. He is a sociopath.

Speaking of fellow travelers, I'm glad Ben didn't get to keep the pet. Why? Because he had the thing jumping through hoops of fire. On the first day. I sincerely hate what a psychopath this kid is. *1/2.

Ben 10 "Chicken Nuggets Of Wisdom"

You know, I can actually understand Max liking that music to relax. But the idea that he actually grooves to it says he's totally lame.

I like Dr. Animo admitting that he says his plans out loud because he secretly want to get caught.

The character animation was especially good this episode.

A good one. ***1/2.

Ben 10 "All Koiled Up"

It's time to talk about Ben Tennyson and this particular review is just as good a time as any.

Ben 10 is an entitled little turd. It's as if they gave Joffrey from Game of Thrones superpowers, and asked the children in the audience to root for and admire him. I think the most detestable thing about Ben for me is that he actually thinks he's cool and funny, and doesn't realize everyone else thinks he sucks. He's not just Joffrey, he's Michael Scott too.

What I hate most about him is that the show always tries to say he's learning a lesson each episode, but just because he uses a bare minimum of common sense at the end, is no reason for Max and Gwen to tell him he did a good job. He still ruined the rock garden. And they forgot all about that, and will move on to the next town where Ben will destroy something else, to learn another ten second lesson, and go right back to being the sociopath he always was. I cannot stand this character, and ultimately since the show that's about him chooses to portray him this way, and give his appalling behavior positive reinforcement week after week, I kind of think I can't stand this show either. 0.
