I picked up this collection today and I think it was money well spent. Yes the price tag was $90 but I thought it was well worth it. I really like these movies and all the extras are just the icing on the cake. I imagine I am not the only one who went right to the deleted Krypton scene from Superman Returns and it was a great scene! I haven't had a chance to check much of the box set yet but so far what I've seen is amazing especially that cut scene from Superman Returns. I'm so glad to finally see it! Can't wait to go through the set disc by disc.

So, I guess nobody knows whether Warner Brothers "new" high-def transfers of the Fleischer/Famous Studio Superman cartoons for this Blu-ray release? Or did Warner just include those on the set using the same transfers as from 2006 in 480p?

They're still in 480p. Sorry.

They're still in 480p. Sorry.

That's pathetic. Sure the cartoons are in the PD, but I considering that Warner Brothers has the original negatives, you would think that for this collection they'd rescan them for 1080p. Maybe Warner's scanning department is too busy with Looney Tunes transfers.

I don't suppose Warner Brothers included the 1951 Superman and the Mole Men movie in this collection, and in 1080p?

While I have no intention of purchasing this (I seem to have an Ungodly amount of Superman on DVD), I am curious as to how the Return to Krypton scene pans out. Is it any good?

Are there any additional special features not on the previous DVDs?

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
