"Sofia The First: Royal Magic Coming May 2026"

"With a show as popular as Sofia The First, it’s only natural to want to expand on it as much as possible. That’s where the sequel series, Sofia The First: Royal Magic, comes in. We finally have more information about it, such as with the voice cast and release month, which is May 2026. Here’s everything that you need to know about it.
Let’s start at the beginning. Sofia The First is a Disney Junior show that came out on November 18, 2012 with the pilot movie Sofia The First: Once Upon A Princess. It ran for 4 seasons and over 100 episodes, ending on September 8, 2018. The show followed a young village girl named Sofia who became a princess when her mother Miranda married King Roland, the King Of Enchancia. Throughout the original series, she would navigate the ins and outs of being a princess with her new siblings Amber and James, her new bunny friend Clover, and her new friends at Royal Prep. The new sequel series sees Sofia going to Charmswell School Of Magic to learn how to use her magic with her new friends Camilla, Layla, and Zane."

In regards to the show, Craig Gerber said that she's too busy, and hasn't had time to record. He's not ruling out the possibility. He's just saying that she's not appearing right away.So we are never going to see Vivian in the this show, even if they recast her?
That aside, I am disappointed, we are not going to get a follow up on Prisma and see how she is doing?
When someone noticed how all the new kids have magical items, Craig said how, besides Sofia, one of them has a magical item (not including Camilla's wand).

"Editorial: How “Sofia The First: Royal Magic” Could Embrace The Trends Of Modern Preschool Cartoons"
![]()
"In the world of animated revivals, whether as movies, specials, sequel shows, and new episodes, we often talk about non-preschool shows. Some examples include Young Justice, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Adventure Time, and Phineas And Ferb. However, we don’t really talk about when preschool shows get revived or followed up on in some way. With the upcoming Sofia The First sequel series, Sofia The First: Royal Magic, coming out later in May, I figured now would be a good time to talk about preschool show revivals, and trends often used in preschool shows in general. I normally do reviews, but this is something I feel is worth discussing. I’m going to discuss a few main points before later showing some of my thoughts, mainly in regards to how the new Sofia The First show could or couldn’t follow certain trends that other shows do. I mean, a show about a young village girl becoming a princess now gets a sequel series focused on her attending a magic school. That’s brimming with potential to talk about, especially with the teaser trailer that dropped last month on February 17."

It could be possible. I mean, Diamond White and Isabella Acres returned to voice Holly and Katie in Phieas And Ferb. They could return to voice Ruby and Jade here.I hope Sofia's best friends Ruby and Jade return.
I personally doubt they will, but who knows? They could very well be two of those "friends" who have not yet been announced.
