Be kinda weird to do a Silver Sable movie and not use them at all...

9/6: Just as weird as doing a Silver Sable-Black Cat movie, imo.

9/7: The Wild Pack line up will reportedly be Powell, Klein, Chen, Morty, and Arnold. Morty is going to be a male like in the Ultimate comics.

12/11: Silver & Black will reportedly film in Atlanta. It enters pre-production with Ruth E. Carter as costume designer, she recently worked on Black Panther and worked with the director in the past.

Well, if Black Panther is any indication then the costumes will be pretty stylish .

Black Cat always came off as "porny". Moreso than Catwoman. So I expect cleavage. Especially since it seems the MCU is clearly staying away from pushing into that edgy mature area of Spidey mythos.

I'm curious what he means about a reason for fans to enjoy the film even if they don't care for the leads...like a surprise guest appearance by Spider-Man or something ?

I'm thinking it's probably one of the villains or perhaps Venom himself popping up.

12/16:Which in itself is disconcerting. The leads should matter... or did I fall into the Twilight Zone again?

1/5: Under working title Tri-Border, filming for Silver and Black will start March 5 and end mid-June.

2/13: Lindsey Beer And Geneva Robertson-Dworet hired to work on the next draft.

2/23: Reports start of principal production is temporarily delayed.

I think there's a lot of things we can assume about the film's delay, but polishing the script is never a bad thing .

According to this article on Deadline, they changed the release date for this (but it's still TBD). Sony's Greyhound movie is taking its place on February 8th, 2019.

“With Silver and Black, when you’re doing a film of that magnitude, it’s gotta be right. And if it’s not right, we actually collectively decided to go back to the drawing board and start over. That’s gonna take time. So obviously, I’d love to be shooting right now, but to be shooting something that I know is not as good as it can be, I’m not the type that wants to shoot something you’re rewriting, as you’re shooting. So, we have to get the script right, and I’m okay to wait. I may be shooting something before that, but it really is just get the script right before we go on that journey.”

“I guess I would say, on the film side, everything is magnified. It’s a lot of money. That’s why, if you’re gonna spend that much money, let’s make sure that we’re telling a good story. There’s more voices and more money, and it’s just a bigger sandbox. Marvel Television is doing such cool, innovative things. It’s really exciting to start there, and things that I learned on that, I will absolutely bring to the bigger sandbox.”

Honestly, I think these Studios may just NOW be getting the idea that the Geek fandom is smarter than your average movie-goer. You had better come correct with the project or #1 we will not show up #2 you just blew millions or dollars.
