So, CN recently got Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds and Chaotic, so what other shows would you like to see them get?

For me, I think Oban Star-Racers wouldn't be a bad addition to their lineup, especially since Disney XD is taking it off their schedule. Probably won't happen, though.

I would like for CN to aquire Naruto Shippuden and Guin Saga, both anime's are awesome and I feel that they could do well on CN if given the right treatment, but since that isn't going to happen I will hope for a couple more 4Kids shows, Huntik and Di-Gata Defenders. Both shows offer some intense action, great animation and fun stories and if blocked together with 5D's and Chaotic M'Arillion Invasion, CN could have a fun little "4Kids" style action block. I would be in love.

I'd like it if they acquired Sonic X, Sgt. Frog and Naruto: Shippuden

I wouldn't be dissapointed with Sonic X, it's a show I catch once in a while on CW4Kids and when I get to see it I can get into it. Unfortunatly I don't think we will be seeing Shippuden on American television anytime soon if at all, but I wish they would dubb the shows and sell them in the U.S for crying out loud. I can see it selling quite well, there does seem to be a lot of Naruto fans in America, as well as people who want this series aired.

Earthworm Jim might be good, since I literally haven't seen those episodes since they aired on Kids' WB.

I was going to say Sam & Max: Freelance Police, but that might be a problem, since there were only 13 episodes. Plus, I already have the entire FOX series on DVD. Honestly, I think that a better idea would be for the S&M team to produce all new S&M episodes for Adult Swim.

I know that it will never happen, but Eek! the Cat and The Tick on Cartoon Network would be interesting to see also. Like I said, I know that this would never happen, since Disney owns the Fox Kids shows and is currently just sitting on them, but I figured that I would suggest it since we'll never get a Fox Kids Channel.

Years ago, Toon Disney ran this Canadian show called U.B.O.S. (Ultimate Book of Spells). It was a cute show, and it might be nice to see again. However, UBOS was YTV, not Teletoon, and anyway the only reason TD picked it up was because it was similar in premise and structure to Harry Potter, and the network wanted to cash in. And since there doesn't seem to be any new HP flicks coming down the pike, I doubt that CN or any other cable station would be interested in acquiring this show now.

Fun trivia fact: one of the main characters on UBOS, Cassandra the witch, was voiced by Janys Jaud, who also voiced Sarah on Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy.

You do know that a new Harry Potter movie is coming out in July, right?

Well, from Canada I'd like to see Class of the Titans and Being Ian. Both have gotten acclaim and from what I've seen, both are promising. I'm dumbfounded as to why shows like Sidekick or 6Teen would be chosen over them. I'd also like to see Atomic Betty and Storm Hawks back on the schedule. Both are still producing episodes and both didn't get horrible ratings when they were on CN.

From Japan, it'd be cool to see D. Grayman, Soul Eater, and Shippuden. They could probably fit in on YAH, but I realize YAH would have to expand a lot. D. Grayman and Soul Eater have both aired on foreign CN channels, and since Naruto successfully aired on CN, it should (I repeat, should) be logical for Shippuden to air (I won't talk about the deeper discussion behind this, that belongs in the Anime discussion thread). I'd like to see DBZ Kai, too. DBZ is still a popular franchise, contrary to what some believe, and if it was introduced to a new generation of kids, I'm sure it'd be just as popular as it once was. A good non-shonen anime to pick up would be Doraemon. The show has never aired in the States, yet it's one of the most iconic and popular cartoons in Japan. Also, it has aired on foreign CN's as well.

From 4Kids, I think they should pick up Kirby, Right Back at 'Ya, and Sonic X. The characters are popular, and they'd be a nice complement to Pokemon since they're also based on video game characters. I think a lot of the kids who've played the Pokemon games have also played the Sonic games and have played/heard of Kirby. At least I did when I was in to Pokemon.

I'll second Mickialla's suggestion of Class Of The Titans and Being Ian. Those two shows have been critically acclaimed and have achieved great ratings in Canada. Plus, as I've finally seen a few COTT episodes, it's as good as people think it is.

From Japan, I'd like Soul Eater most of all, plus more One Piece and and finish/continue Naruto/Naruto Shippudden. SE was critically and popularly acclaimed in Japan, requires only mild censoring, and even the insert songs are sung/rapped in perfect, unaccented English. OP and Naruto were pulled before their time was up, they were doing perfectly fine, in fact, Naruto was pulling down Top 10's in its final run.

Shangri-La would be an awesome out-of-left-field pickup as well. This show isn't getting the press that Eden Of The East and K-ON are but Shangri-La, along with Guin Saga, are the two best new anime in Japan that are suited for a CN broadcast.

The 4kids show I'd like to see picked up by CN would be Huntik: Secrets and Seekers. The show captivated me for the first 13 episodes with (mostly) great animation, characters, and storytelling, kids deserve to see it in a non-death slot.

ok well...
i would,nt mind seeing Sonic X or KiRby on CN, I'd also like to see Precure, Naruto: Shippuden, SGT. Frog & Soul eater.

as far as U.S. cartoons go i would'nt mind seeing looney tunes back on, & mabye Hutnik & TMNT.

I would also like to see Beavis & butthead on AS.

wb got yugioh 5ds and chatoic

i like see zz gundam show or victory gundam and great mazinger come to usa

I join the sentiments towards CN picking up Class of the Titans and Di-Gata Defenders. Both shows have plenty of episodes in the can and could easily bring ratings. Heck, they could even do a whole Canadian animation block if they paired them with 6teen and TDI/A. There's plenty of shows in that Canadian well to be considered and those two seem to be the best of the bunch right now.

Aside from Class of the Titans, Being Ian, Jacob Two-Two, and Ruby Gloom (which all have well over 200 episodes completed and ready to air without any translation delays), I'd like to see Cartoon Network pick up The Amazing Spiez (the spinoff of Totally Spies! that is pretty much in tune with the current young male-driven demographic the network is catered to, though it's likely Disney XD will pick it up because they have a play-or-pass clause with Marathon, the series' produces), Hunter × Hunter (yeah, I know it's on FUNimation, but who really has that channel?), and a return of Sailor Moon, though it would be a cold, cold day in hell if the series ever came back to the States.

Of course, I'd love it if Cartoon Network could reacquire Looney Tunes shorts on a daily basis. That would rule.

I would love to see CN pick up One Piece again. The show was so fun and adventurous that I was excited every week to see what happened next on The straw hat's adventures.

I'd like to see them air the British cartoon "Binka". It could be used when there's extra time after a movie or show is aired, since most episodes seem to be around 4 minutes long or so. It's be better than the "Nacho Bear" and "Big Baby" garbage.

TRUE-TRUE

How about the first 3 (4) season of TMNT (2003)? Before TMNT:FF.

Since they aired those already, I suppose it's likely they could return. That all depends on the success of the other 2 4Kids shows that CN just acquired.

I've never heard of Binka, but if it's good, then I think it's a really good idea to air it in extra time, Rho.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
