Does anyone know if the NEW SCOOBY DOO MOVIES (1972 version) where the gang meets guest stars.....if this version was animated overseas? in my opinion, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of the animation between the original season (69-70) and the new subsequent hour long season. In my opinion, the quality of the animation and stories went down, altough I enjoy hearing the original voices (even though Daffne's voice had changed to be voiced by Heather North). I also enjoy the guest stars, but the original version is the best in my thinking. But I'm curious as to where the New Scooby 1972-73 hour long format was animated? Anyknow know?

Also, does anyone know if SKYHAWKS (1969) (animated cartoon) is available on DVD?

Sincerely curious,

Bill:)

I don't know where it was animated, but the lower quality in animation was probably due to HB trying to do a hour long show based on the budget of a 30 minute one.

The second season ('73) was done by HB Australia. The first one I don't think was, and it looks more like the original.

Good Memories about this show.

The New Scooby-Doo Movies, eh? I remember loving this one, I still love it up to this very day as well. I could remember some of the plethora of guests they had (mainly the cartoon ones :p). I still remember the episodes where they had Batman, Speed Buggy, and even Josie and the Pussycats as guests! Those were good times, and I was more than happy to see those New Scooby-Doo Movies rerun on Cartoon Network back in Summer and Fall 2007, if I remember correctly. Very nice of them to do that very thing.

You can check out a full listing of episodes (and guest stars, too) at Kolbar's site, if you want to re-jog your memory.

Chainsmoker Cat is one of the grossest anime I've ever seen, especially in the first episode.

Very happy that Mountain Dew Baja Blast is now available in Taco Bell UK, having been available since three days ago.
The only European country that still sells RHD Opel cars is Ireland.
