Here it is.

- The four episodes of King of the Hill unaired on Fox make their world premiere May 3 (I don't think syndication has aired them yet).
- Kekkaishi starts May 29, along with the return of FLCL to 5:30am.
- Frankenhole premieres June 27 at 12:30am.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the remaining 4 King of the Hill episodes, FOX may not have aired or acknowledged them, but Adult Swim has, and that's all I ask for. But man, end of the month for Kekkasihi? Wow, I might forget about it due to it being a month away.

finally, we get to see the unaired king of the hill episodes. i have been waiting since the series finale.

Finally, i was wondering when we would get the king of the hill episodes, my anticipation is great.

Unaired King of the Hills- Good. Exclusive content is always a big plus.

Frankenhole- Looking forward to it, but wanted to see a preview April 1 instead of The Room.

That leaves the anime no one wanted to air, airing on Memorial Day Weekend. They had better hope there's no-

Concert special
Huge sporting event
Big fight card

To spoil a premiere which will have a lukewarm anticipation at best.

I'm looking forward to Kekkaishi.:anime:

It's one thing to air a show with a lukewarm to non-existent level of hype, or at worst, backlash (IE: We want Soul Eater!). It's quite another to air it on a weekend where Adult Swim's viewership will most likely be down, and they will be competing with at least TWO major events.

On a more positive note, has anyone gotten a reaction about Frankenhole, previews, anything?

I can't wait for the new KOTH episodes! I was just wondering about those earlier today. I'm wondering what loose ends are going to get tied up (Dale finding out about his wife's affair, Bill getting a woman, etc.).

Man, I would have rather have The Honeymooners episode air last year, and the finale air this year.

It's so out of place. Anyway, the final 4 KOTH episodes are finally airing.

I just can't figure out why they're airing an anime that's already been available on hulu for months. I mean, I haven't watched it yet, because I've honestly heard nothing about it. But, it just seems odd that Adult Swim keeps on picking up anime that's already available for free. I mean, compare that to Monster, where the hulu episodes are significantly behind the episodes that SyFy airs.

Bill's had plenty of women.

Why is it that every time there's a mention of Adult Swim schedule changes I am filled with this overbearing sense of dread?

I'm serious. Every time. I think it's because I'm an anime viewer.

That said, here's hoping Kekkaishi doesn't suck both in ratings and quality.

Well the empricial evidence shows that every time a schedule change occurs shuffling a competent performing show, ratings plumment. The infamous DN bait-and-switch is Exhibit A. Throw in a holiday weekend that will cause indifference and a rampaging (No pun intended) fight card/movie promotion engine for an event on the same night, and Kekkaishi is looking to take it on the chin. The fact that it's Kekkaishi and not Black Lagoon or Soul Eater or- anything else isn't helping.

There are two positives I take from all this-

1- The premiere date sheet we were given didn't list May 29 as a premiere for anything, increasing the possibility that Viz went "air Kekkaishi or Final Act goes on SyFy." Therefore, we have two shows to look forward to after this.

2- I get my fanboy on as an anime premiere and a major UFC card are in direct competition with one another. :p

Admist all this it feels like Frankenhole is being ignored.

Well, Beat, in the event that AS could air an awesome "for-adults" anime soon, would you rather have it or Kekkaishi "take it on the chin"? I don't think UFC fights have anything to do with mediocre ratings, but I do think the Memorial Day weekend will adversely affect ratings unless Brotherhood's ratings pick up following the break with Anime1. If Brotherhood starts pulling down 500,000 or 600,000 after episode 14, Kekkaishi might start off pretty well. But if Brotherhood doesn't quite reach that mark, Kekkaishi will definitely be in trouble from the outset, and it's likely that Kekkaishi will not be promoted in any way, shape, or form, outside of a Sunday bump if it is lucky.

Though if Kekkaishi miraculously explodes out of the gate I foresee a schedule shuffle to screw Kekkaishi over as much as possible, because I don't think Kekkaishi was originally in the cards, and I think AS wound up getting it as part of a Viz package that included Final Act. So I think that we could wind up getting four anime this year.

Frankenhole looks iffy to me, personally. Doesn't look like it'll outright suck so I will probably catch the first couple of episodes before making up my mind for certain. But AS originals have been disappointing me lately other than Titan Maximum and Venture Bros.
