Note: Apologies if a thread like this already exists somewhere. If it does exist I can't find it.

We live in an age of reboots. Where things from only the last decade are becoming nostalgic and various media corporations feel the need to remake those shows in order to capitalize on said nostalgia. We got a fair few already confirmed and I have no doubt more will be on the way. So in this thread you can leave your predictions for what movie or TV show will be getting a reboot. Just say which TV show or movie you think it will be and give a reason for it. You can even describe what you think it will look like and when it'll come out if you like. And if it happens feel free to come back to this thread and let everyone know how right you were. Post away!

Here goes:

G.I. Joe will be rebooted as a web series along with all the other obscure/forgotten Hasbro action brands that Paramount plans to make a live action cinematic universe of. It will be done by Boulder Media and look like Teen Titans Go! or it will be done by someone else in a more straightforward action style. Either way, it will be a series of online shorts.

Back to the Future will be rebooted in some fashion, likely as a live-action movie. It will be a soft reboot.

At some point, after or right around when Archer ends, Adult Swim will chuck a whole bunch of money at Adam Reed to make a reboot of Sealab 2021. It will look like a fusion of Archer and the original show while favoring the latter's writing style.

The Iron Giant will be soft rebooted. It will take place in the 70s. A now grown up Hogarth will be searching for his mechanical friend when the robot's alien creators come to Earth to seize him and the planet.

I think it'd be neat if WB gave the constant Tom & Jerry and Scooby-Doo reboots a rest for a while and gave other Hanna-Barbera shows a shot. Wacky Races is a nice start, but I think it'd be nice if they did more. Sadly, it seems like they're reviving these other characters with WWE crossovers, and that's a waste of their potential.

I'm tired of seeing reboots since it comes off as unoriginal and pandering to nostalgia. That being said, some rebooted properties do work like Voltron. I really like @JoeMabbon's G.I. Joe idea because I'd like to see the property used more since the Transformers franchise is pretty healthy in shows and movies.

For predictions, I could see Rocky and Bullwinkle come back. And there was an Astro Boy animated show in the works. I'm not sure if that's still coming or not. I hope it does since it looked cool.

I think at some point Disney will reboot Lilo and Stitch. Simply because merchandising. I remember there used to be tons of merchandise for that. They'll probably turn it into 3D if they go the movie route. That's really all I can predict other then the fact it'll be inferior to the original.

But G.I.Joe would require the use of guns which has been a no-no with American cartoons. Though they could probably change them to laser guns.

Swat Kats was supposed to come back, but Turner declined to pick it up. I guess eventually it will end up on demand or potentially on Adult Swim if Samurai Jack, a similar project, does well.

Captain Planet, as a new animated series, is coming back as well. But again same problem. Turner isn't interested in proper action anymore, even if CP is more about the environment. Possibly another on demand product.

Out of other shows I can think of, I can see the following potentially making a comeback in the upcoming years:

The Addams Family - The 1992 series will celebrate 25 years this year. I think the franchise has been dormant for enough time to be brought back. Somehow. Plus it's corky unique and a classic. Putting the 92 show on DVD could give momentum.

Beetlejuice - Will celebrate 30 years next year and is known. Animated series happened a long time ago. I could see them exploring a reboot either in live or toon form.

The Centurions - I believe someone will potentially pick it up for a live film. Hopefully Michael Bay who left the Transformers franchise. It has a lot of potential to become a long series.

2 Stupid Dogs - 25th anniversary this year. Since CN already has a show about bears (WBB) why not also dogs? Especially if it's comedy.

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
