Manchester Stadium, which was the proposed stadium for the 2000 Summer Olympics. After Sydney became the host city of said event, the stadium plans would be revised into the City of Manchester Stadium, which would later host the 2002 Commonwealth Games and is now the home of Manchester City.

Stanley Park, which was the proposed new home for Liverpool FC before the team's acquisition from Fenway Sports Group in 2011 nixed those plans in favour of redeveloping Anfield instead.

Battersea Power Station Stadium, which was the proposed new home for Chelsea FC before the plans were scrapped in 2012 after the power station was sold and underwent redevelopment.

Tottenham Olympic Stadium, which was going to replace the Olympic Stadium at Stratford but after West Ham United was announced to be the tenants of said stadium, the proposed plans were revised into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
