Old International Boomerang schedules

I already know it happened only in 2017. Still to this day even their modern shows aren't popular outside of AS side of things. So my point stands even with your long posts.
Maybe if they advertised the presence of Finnish-dubbed CN shows on HBO Max a whole lot better and continuously maintained an "HBO Max Kids Nordic" YouTube channel featuring Danish-, Swedish-, Norwegian- and Finnish-dubbed clips from Cartoon Network and Cartoonito shows, the Cartoon Network shows would be much better known in Finland.

I doubt they would do better. The only animated show that I've seen in the top 10 list is R&M and they don't even advertise that enough. People would rather watch more well known cartoons in other streaming platforms like Bluey which constantly gets in the top 10 list and that even isn't advertised properly. None of the CN shows scream SpongeBob in terms of popular and I hate to admit it.

These are the shows every single Finn knows:
- Bluey
- SpongeBob
- The Simpsons
- Family Guy

We went off-topic so if you want us to move this convo somewhere else, let me know.

For how long did "Puppy in My Pocket" air on Boomerang Nordic?

It did last quite a bit, the CEE feed stopped airing it on the last day of 2012.

I guess it was a 5 year contract deal for Nordic. They got in 2010.

Boomerang Nordic schedule one week after the Cartoonito block launched. It took me a very long time as Cartoonito launch schedule hasn't been posted here before.

Yet from the schedules before October 18, I see that a sort of Cartoonito block basically already existed on the Nordic feed, with shows like Pingu, Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder airing back-to-back in mornings and afternoons making for a preschoolish time. And the rotation of those shows was almost the same (with new ones coming later), so it was basically already a Cartoonito block before getting that name later.

Boomerang CEE (and EMEA before that) had Puppy in My Pocket as part of the normal non-preschool schedule, yet its aesthetic and tone was more fitting towards a Cartoonito block airing. Still surprised they didn't treat it as a preschool series from the start. When Boomerang Europe first got the show in August 2011, before the CEE feed split, I was surprised how it was dubbed and aired in Romanian from the start, which was never the case before with new series joining the schedule after we got the RO track in the fall of 2010. Yet ironically, after we got the new CEE feed, some newer Puppy in My Pocket episodes hadn't their dubs ready yet and actually were aired in English on our track. That until after those were eventually dubbed as well. Either way, the new CEE management didn't seem to like it as much as the other Boomerang feeds, as it only aired for one year and a quarter here.

These shows were part of the regular Boomerang lineup, not a block even if scheduled that way, I know that these shows aired but it was still worth it to have a Cartoonito launch lineup because at least some differences were seen.

Yeah, the Nordic management was targeting towards preschoolers before the Cartoonito block launched. Even if it wasn't directly promoted as a Cartoonito-ish block, the hidden intention was still to have some space for the very small children/babies.

I mean, even feeds like the France Boomerang already was targeting to preschoolers since way earlier, with CGI shows mixed in with classics and family content. So it isn't anything weird if you think about it.

Same logic as France, Spain and Italy.

Weird that they'd air the same Tom and Jerry movie exactly twice in a row, sandwiched between a big marathon of The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries.

They had rotated marathons every weekend so this wasn't the only marathon.

I think it's strange that MLP lasted until 2014 on both CN and Boom, even though they only had the rights to the first season. Nickelodeon had the rights to seasons 1-8.

It definitely didn't air in 2014 though. Every schedule I have found, it's not there. Of course feel free to tell if you have a schedule showing MLP.
