So you didn't pick up SHE-HULK #1 yet? Well, I don't know what I can say to persuade you-- after all, I'm a bit biased. :)

So why not listen to what over 20 online reviewers have said about it? Including a "5 out of 5" from SILVERBULLETCOMICS, a "10 out of 10 and Best of the Week" from DIGITALWEBBING...

...or this little gem from AINT IT COOL NEWS:
"SHE-HULK is one knock-your-socks-off debut issue – the best I've seen from Marvel since THUNDERBOLTS #1 blew my socks off almost 10 years ago."

Not bad, huh? C'mon. You KNOW you want to...

I've been putting in a big effort in trying to get this but Dan a lot of people are reading your book, two comic book stores I've gone to we're sold out. I promise I'll get it this week and then I'll suck up to y-...I mean comment on it.:D

Whoa. I bet that by the time the first four issues are done, Dan will be be ruler of the world. Or at least North America.

Pfft. As if. Dan can conqueor whole galaxies and planes of existence. He's like a funnier, more amiable Parralax.

Anyhow, both my neighborhood stores sold out, which means good things, I guess. Too bad Marvel has that dopey no-solicitations policy.

Okay... We're now OFFICIALLY at TWO DOZEN positive reviews that I KNOW OF...

So? Read the book already. ;) And if your comic shop is SOLD OUT (a very LIKELY scenario), pitch a fit and ask them to ORDER MORE. And UP THEIR ORDERS on #2! :)

GAH! I've gone to three comic book stores and they're all sold out. Could someone mail me their issue... really... I really want to read this.

I love to read the new She-Hulk comic but I usually wait for the TPB to come..... That's how I am.

Bubblegum Girl-- You're killing me here! If a book is in the top 25 (Amazing Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men, The Ultimates, etc.), you're pretty much guaranteed to get a TPB. AND you can also be sure that that book's sales will keep going strong-- despite the fact that you waited for the TPB instead of buying the regular issues.

But a book like SHE-HULK? A book that stars a D-list character? A book that's NOT going to be in the top 25? A book that debuts in its opening month with 6 to 8 OTHER #1's? I've got ONE WORD for you:

SENTINEL

Hope you liked THAT TPB... cause that's it, kiddo.

For a small niche book like SHE-HULK, every sale is like someone CASTING A VOTE for its continued EXISTENCE! If you don't support it as a MONTHLY, there's a GOOD chance that it won't survive-- or even RATE a TPB! This is NOT a SPIDER or X-book! There ARE no guarantees! This is a young book in its infancy and it needs your help. Hopefully, these TWO DOZEN reviews can convince you that this is a book WORTH your help.

ALSO, if you read through those reviews, you'll see that this book is NOT PADDED OUT TO BE A TPB! This book is crammed with a full issue's worth of GOODNESS! Our first 4 issues are SINGLE ISSUE STORIES that you can enjoy month in and month out! They're designed to be enjoyed as INDIVIDUAL UNITS OF ENTERTAINMENT. Huzzah! Comics the way they were when I was a kid!

Blue Wolf,
Thanks for trying to hunt the book down. Just PLEASE do me this favor: if the retailer is SOLD OUT of SHE-HULK #1-- let him know that you'd like him to ORDER MORE... and that maybe that's ALSO a good sign for him to UP HIS ORDERS ON #2.

Phew!

Peace,
Dan

ANOTHER review went up to day...

http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/reviews/108029807189735.htm

"A near perfect first issue..."

"(Bobillo's) the ideal artist for this title."

"This opening issue is a lot of fun and I have to say that it's one of the more promising debuts of a new series from Marvel in quite some time."

"...this is a delightful start to what looks like the breakout hit of the year from Marvel."

So?...

What do I gotta do to get you guys to try this thing?

;)

You need to have Jim Lee draw or get bring back Bucky.
:)

Centerfold of She-Hulk in a purple bikini
I'd suspect that a centerfold of She-Hulk WITHOUT the purple bikini would probably be more effective ;).

Besides, it's not like the covers have her in big winter coats or anything...

Well, the only reason I get TPB is because it's so hard for me to find to a comic book store that's close by. One of the bookstores has comics but it's not 100% accurant on thier supply. But I'll see if She-Hulk is on the comic rack when I go there.(But you never know, She-Hulk might be become popular) I'm still waiting for Sentinal TPB to come out, if it isn't already out.

Dan,

I tried to warn the last person who said they were waiting for the TPB. The warnings apparently didn't work. Now I'll have to start executing people. :D

Okay guys, if you're still coming up with execuses for not picking up this title, then you risk me hunting you down and removing your bodily organs. So it's your choice: She-Hulk #1 or pain. Choose wisely.

Um... Thanks...

I'd... uh... rather we didn't resort to threats of pain and death...

Let's just say it's a fun, quirky little book with some great art and I think you'll really enjoy it if you give it a shot. :)

Well, if you wanna go the nice route and promote your book in a positive, welcoming atmosphere...*sigh* Yes, I suppose you could go that route. :D

How about this: if you can find the book, pick it up.

I mean, try Ebay if all else fails...

Man! I went to Borders and they didn't have it on the comic racks! It's so fustrating to find the comics you want! :(

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
