Nicktoons (the channel) News and Discussion Thread

It's had an HD feed for 2 years, it's just taking a while to launch nationally. And I STILL DON'T HAVE IT IN HD!
This is why I watch Disney XD more than Nicktoons nowadays, because it's the only other animation channel (besides CN) that is 99% HD. I also call Disney XD an animation channel because it airs animation most of the time. Just look at it's 9/7/15 schedule: http://www.locatetv.com/listings/disney-xd#07-Sep-2015
Another (and more important) reason why I was Disney XD more is because it doesn't air 3 hours of it's favorite show like Nicktoons does with TMNT.

This is off-topic, but Disney XD HAS shown marathons of various shows on weekdays recently.

Also: I think Nicktoons' today schedule (which will go into next week) might make me interested into the channel again, even if it's still not in HD on Optimum.

3-5p - TMNT (finally quenched to only 2 hours)
5:00pm - Pig Goat Banana Cricket
5:30pm - Harvey Beaks
6p - Breadwinners
7p - Sanjay and Craig
8p - 2 hours of Spongebob
10p - 2 hours of Harvey Beaks

FOP was also finally quenched.
Also, the schedule may differ by this Monday.

Question, just for those who have been following Nicktoons schedule. According to Zap2it, it seems like they had gotten rid of the Digimon Fusion marathons on Sunday, but I was wondering if this was also true for Saturday as well?

Get Blake would be better starting off with Nicktoons in my opinion. Miraculous Ladybug should be set to air Nickelodeon in October but then again... my guess is that Nickelodeon will pull off last notice and delay to air in November or further dates...

Seems Nicktoons has removed 100 Things to Do Befor..eh whatever too long, Hathaways, and Back at the Barnyard.

They also removed the "HD" part of their bug on the HD feed (Nick and Nick Jr. already did that a while ago). It looks better now honestly.

Also, it seems like HD channels these days don't really shout HD at their viewers anymore.

NickToons UK is hideous. Teleshopping, 15 min. timeslots, huge amounts of Spongebob Spamming™, premieres a year after US, no diversity. The only good part is late-night weekend schedule

Slightly off-topic: Later this year, Nickelodeon will launch a new 90s-Nicktoons channel called "The Splat". (MTV, which is related to Nickelodeon, even confirmed this: http://www.mtv.com/news/2269223/nickelodeon-the-splat/)

On 9/26, Nicktoons will have a Wild Grinders marathon from 6a-10a, and MVP: Most Valuable Primate from 10a-12n, MVP2 from 3p-5p and both movies again from 5p-9p.

I guess this is a good place as any to complain about Nicktoons TV schedule. I miss it being a home to older Nick shows and is now non-stop marathons of shows currently airing on the main Nick, animated or otherwise.
