Netflix's "She-Ra" News & Discussion Thread

No clue if netflix has renewed she-ra for another "production" season yet

Either way we're going to get at least 26 more episodes as the initial order was for 52 episodes.

Whats the source of infomation that she-ra got a inital order of 52 episodes?

Its this one here.

In other words, it's season 1 in three parts.
Not really. Going by episodes ordered everything is season one, going by show runner plans it's 4 thirteen episode seasons.

Seasons 1-3 will be getting a DVD release on November 5th 2019!

My guess is this is in part to get people hyped for the next batch of episodes that will most likely come in December.

There will obviously be more information to come, but for now, season 4 is said to have 13 episodes.

It's November 5.

I think it's going to be pretty hard to redeem Catra after this next season (spoilers in this link):

It looks she is a literal tyrant now. Between trying to blow up a planet and becoming a tyrant, that's pretty hard to come back from, her back story does not come close to justifying her current level of villainy.

Also, apparently Noelle Stevenson is pushing for a He-Man/She-Ra crossover. I assume she is kidding.

I kinda hope Catra doesn't redeemed not because I dont like her character but its more unexpected

I don't expect Catra to serve as the final big bad of the series (I think Horde Prime will serve that role) but I will admit that I'm one of those who are in favour of her being redeemed as there could be something that would lead to her redemption, much like when Bryke and Ehasz planned to do a redemption story for Azula to serve as a possible fourth season of ATLA which didn't materialise due to the film adaptation and of course, I do think Scorpia will redeem herself before Catra.

Well, I do hope Adam shows up in the show, whether it be close to the end or not and his inclusion could expand more on Adora's origins since it was revealed that she wasn't born in Etheria.

At this point I see Hordak getting a redemption arc before Catra and that's the last thing I want.

Even if it's mainly jokes right now I'm glad the crew are open to the idea of a He-man cross over.

In addition to Hordak, I also see Scorpia getting a redemption arc after Shadow Weaver and before Catra.

A list on who has a better chance at having a redemption arc:

Scorpia > Entrapta > Hordak > Catra

Actually I'm not even sure if Entrapta needs one, since the Face Heel Turn only happened because the Alliance thought she was barbecued to death and now
Catra went and sent her up the river because Entrapta had the "audacity" to confirm that Adora was right about something yet again.

...Geez, Catra really is the worst. Isn't she?

I think Hordak will realise that Catra lied to him about something to do with Entrapta, resulting him to rescue her.

Well, I have a feeling that Horde Prime will be much worse than Catra.

Maybe Catra meeting someone as cruel as Horde Prime who so completely abuses his power will make her realize how wrong her pursuit of power is. I think Horde Prime may work best as the most truly evil villain on the show, he threw away Hordak like he was nothing, if he would do that to his own clone, how cruel would he be those he wants to conquer.

You guys think its a good or bad thing that the villains tend to be more entertaining than the heroes.
