I'm a hardcore TransFan fan. But I'm not exploding. I find it cute and amusing.

But then again, I think G1 got better after the movie and damn near perfect with Beast Wars. Thus, many GEEWUN fans would say my opinions don't count.

I can't help but wonder though, WHY NOT A GI JOE CROSSOVER?!! I understand that both lines are doing well now and have their own movies and all that jazz ... but still. GI Joe and Transformers are as inexorably linked as Superman and Batman. Almost every comic book incarnation of Transformers has had a GI Joe crossover and vice-versa.

Oddly enough, there was a line of toy called Disney Tronics. The story goes that Dr. Frankenollie decided to make robot to represent the various Good vs Evil factions in Disney Battles. The robot came in pairs of two.

The sets were:
Peter Pan vs. Captain Hook
Simba vs. Scar
Beast vs. Gaston
Prince Phillip vs. Maleficent
Mickey Mouse vs. Chernoborg

I have the last one. It was too stupid not to pick up.
