There is a dream worth putting two lives on the line for.

Tsukasa, a young man with shattered dreams, and Inori, a girl no one believed in. However, in the face of adversity, those two possessed a tenacity towards the rink greater than anyone had ever known. Together, they meet on the ice, and aim for the world with their figure skating!

The manga is absolutely AMAZING and you all should read it. It's also getting an anime as well!

It's that time again where I post something Medalist related!

I legit do not care that it's fanmade. This NEEDS to be intro and I will be heartbroken and soulcrushed when it's not.

The Medalist Twitter page is on FIRE right now with posts about the first episode getting a theater release, artworks by other manganka, and the releases of a novelization and data book with character info and images.

Forgot to add this, but Kodansha has the first chapter of the manga up for free.

Also,
Medalist Fanbook is out. Has a TON of research notes about figure skating and unreleased character bios stuff.

We already know that Inori's sister was a figure skater, but she was apparently REALLY good and made is far as Badge Lvl. 6 and racked up some championships.

Edit: Inori's character stats sheet is so hilariously "Battle Shonen Protagonist"
with stuff like "Good Sense" being low, "Training Attitude" being high, and both "Courage" and "Tenacity" being so high they break the scale.
It's great.

That's a really cute illustration for the fanbook cover :).

There's a lot of really great info there, but a lot of it is spoilers like...the entire cour so about the first 15 chapters. As the episodes roll on I'll contribute as it goes.

Edit: A really nice post in Korean about the series.

It talks about the psychologically uplifting effects of meeting a child at eye level and how a lot of the coaches do it to make their kids feel safe, secure, and listened to.

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
