2025 was a very productive year for Marvel Animation, featuring new shows, endings for established series, and Lego special or two.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

The latest animated Spider-Man cartoon re-imagines Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) early years as inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After his attempts to rescue his future bestie Nico Minoru (Grace Song) result in him being bitten by a spider that gives him superpowers, Peter begins to battle crime and becomes involved with businessman and philanthropist Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo), his son Harry Osborn (Zeno Robinson), and various new super-criminals as he fights to protect his neighborhood while balancing being a teen.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will return for season 2.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

The second and final season of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur featured Lunella Lafayatte (Diamond Philips) dealing with the fallout of her family discovering her Superhero identity. While she slowly tries to reconnect with her family and the Beyonder (Laurence Fishburne) she, Devil Dinosaur (Fred Tatasciore), and Casey must contend with Mr. Negative (Bowen Yang), the Felonious Four, the Beetle (Chuck D) and Decoy (Angela Basset).

Marvel Zombies

Spinning off from the What If episode, Marvel Zombies explores a world where much of the population and many recognizable characters have been turned into zombies, and spotlights Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) as she tries to survive and find a solution to the zombie problem while meeting up with a ragtag band of survivors including Blade (Todd Williams), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), and Yelena Belova (Florence Pough).

Eyes of Wakanda

An original animated anthology set in the MCU, Eyes of Wakanda spotlights the Wakandan War Dogs as they carry out their missions and loyalty to Wakanda across the world.

It feels like all the "good stuff" was at the start of 2025. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur were highlights for me.

Eyes of Wakanda was a pretty good anthology. Spidey and Iron Man's preschool shows are decent I guess, I just haven't really followed them that faithfully. The crossover special was kind of fun though.

This year's LEGO special was kind of weak overall, and I still haven't watched Marvel Zombies.

For 2026, new seasons of X-Men '97, and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are probably the ones I'm mostly looking forward to.
