TTG has been airing a lot lately these days and I'm starting to think it's going to become like Spongebob Squarepants on Nick. What do you guys think?

TTG is going to have a movie and had that one your favorite cartoon slogan, at this point it is already on Spongebob's level of successful, since it also overshadows the most shows of Cartoon Network currently airs.

Not sure how the future looks right now maybe more seasons will be picked up, but I can't see anything that would make Cartoon Network want less from Go.

It already has been for a while. The question now is how long it will have this status.

Well, The Powerpuff Girls Movie proved it's not The Powerpuff Girls.

It's kind of been like that for three years now, to be perfectly honest.

Though, with the exception of the movie, it does seem to be starting to pass. You can tell CN is banking on Unikitty to be the next big thing for them.

However, I will say - for how much of the schedule it can take up - at least they're not using the show as an excuse to screw over other, newer shows, which is to me the primary thing CN has over Nick. Sure, acquisitions haven't been treated the best, but this was also a thing before TTG entered the picture.

I assumed that it already was. It may not have the same amount of success as Spongebob. Even with a movie in the works, I'm not sure if you could say Teen Titans Go and they'd instantly associate it with the show like people do with Spongebob, but it's basically Cartoon Network's answer to Spongebob, especially when it has so much presence on their schedule.

They both do great in ratings, but teen titans go is not made by Cartoon Network so cartoon network might not be that interested in it for very long, as they also want to promote their own content, like the amazing world of gumball- which is actually from europe. I also think Unikitty or 1 of the other new shows could equal ttg in popularity, just like what The Loud House did with Spongebob.

Teen Titans Go! has been like that since 2013-2014, and the staff at Cartoon Network is still grinning at our frustrations over this overplayed cartoon show.

That is true, outside of the ad revenue, CN doesn’t really make money off of TTG, since it’s a third party show from WB Animation. Any merch the show makes would go to DC Comics, or WB Consumer Products, not Cartoon Network Enterprises.
But as one can see, the show makes CN a lot of money to make up what they wouldn’t be earning.

I'm sorry but an astronomical reach TTG is nowhere the success and popularity SpongeBob is. If you are talking about when it was at its peak in 2003-2004 then you're incredibly wrong. SpongeBob was a juggernaut for nickelodeon and cancelled out several shows on nick and brought more than of their revenue. TTG did none of that and you guys putting that show way too high on throne.

TTG is like SB in the sense that they're the most popular shows on their networks. However, TTG is not a pop culture phenomenon and has polarizing reception, while SB has critical acclaim.

I wonder if CN will cancel TTG after the movie

Nick plays Spongebob into the ground less than they used to. It's been around long enough, going on 20 years, if not already there, and there are DVD's a'plenty. As has been discussed in other threads, Teen Titans GO! is an insult to older comics fans who've followed the franchise as far back as its roots in the 60's, if not the 1980's books that inspired both the 2003 series and the current plague on our culture. TTG isn't quite as funny as their writers think it is, but the target audience watches without realization that they're watching reruns more often than original episodes.

The show plays a lot because it's apparently cheap to make and kids love it. However, as some other user mentioned here, it has not achieved the pop culture status of SpongeBob.

Ya know...the show airing a lot has nothing to do with how much it cost to produce. Why do people keep thinking that?

I once heard from someone about the show's cost to produce. I was wrong. But one thing is for sure: the show is still popular. I could theorize that the vibrant-colored color palette might be one reason why kids are into it.
