Following the changes to Poland's Broadcast Law that's going to affect TVN/Discovery, it could affect Nickelodeon Poland's licence when it's up for renewal. Widening the requirement to include media companies from OECD countries (which would include the United States) has been rejected.

I can't believe it, I also can't believe EU let them get away with this.

However.. it's more of a push for Nickelodeon to obtain a Dutch/Czech licence (why have they got a Polish one in the first place?)

Of course they would, it's a Pro-EU measure, which is odd, as a Eurosceptic government is running Poland.

OT: Just because it's one of the lesser evils (the EU) and the most restrictive measure they could implement, while being in the EU, and they need to justify their bias against Discovery and the US

Had Poland been outside of the EU, I'm afraid PiS would do even worse

The Nick & You block is still going.

For some reason, Nick Jr. Global is crediting Dora as being produced by Funline, when they only produced the pilot.

Nick UK made a massive typo in one of their latest promos. The promo says 23rd September, but new episodes start 23rd August.

and Paramount+ in Nordics will shutdown.

It's only just launched as well.

Wonder what they'll do with Nick+ in Portugal. :/

Update - It looks like Nick Austria is preparing to split from Switzerland when the latter gets new management. From 1st October, it'll have a Comedy Central block, like Nick Germany, airing every evening from 20:15.

So this means Nick Night will be retired almost 3 years after the German version was replaced by MTV+ (and since 1 March this year, Comedy Central +1).

I think it's likely they'll switch to the German version, at that point

Has anyone here ever taken a tour of the Cartoon Network Studios building in Burbank, CA before it closed? I really wish I could have :(
To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
