I think the Road Runner would get along with all of them equally well, but then again, outside of the comics, the Road Runner didn't have much of a personality, and really didn't need one. In the comics, Daffy and the Road Runner got along very well.

The Tasmainian Devil wouldn't have gotten along with anyone since all he wants to do is eat other animals. I can't imagine Mickey sitting down and having a friendly chat with him.

I think somebody has WAY too much free time on their hands...

according to roger rabbit, they all got along fairly well

yeah, the characters they used in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" seemed to get along fairly well.

But of all of them I think a pairing of Donald and Porky would be interesting. It was funny when Bob Clampett and Ub Iwerks had that "Gabby Goat" character, and he wasn't too far removed from the Donald mold.

Mickey and Bugs did, but I don't know about Donald and Daffy. Remember, Donald shoots a cannon from his piano into Daffy's piano. He has also been accused of calling Daffy a racial slur.

Well, Donald and Daffy never really got along with anybody, so it's hard to see them getting along with each other, unless they both went down to the local bar and comiserated over a beer (or a malt duck) about how they're the real talents at their studios, but the mouse/rabbit get all the credit.

Come to think of it, wasn't there a Hitchcock movie where two people agreed to murder a person for each other so the police would never get suspicious? That would be an interesting premise -- Donald goes after Bugs and Daffy tries to do in Mickey, both of course with the predictable results. Too bad the people at Disney and AOL Time-Warner get along about as well as each studio's top two cartoon stars, so there's no chance right now of that ever getting made.

Donald and Daffy did not, and I mean did not, get along at all. Donald tried to hurt Daffy twice, by slamming his head into his piano, and by aimming a cannon ball at him. Donald would have got along with Daffy, if Daffy did not act so mean, and Daffy would have got along with Donald, if Donald had the same "bad" attidude that Daffy had.

Daffy also said in his quote in his commerical: "That's Daffy, DAFFY Duck, I can't believe ya'd mistake me for the other duck who can't even talk straght!" So, that clearly stated that Donald and Daffy do not get along at well. But, if they were both invited to some kind of party or get together by Mickey, they would probably be as much as they are at the piano dueling scene from the movie.

This is also weird, because Donald and Daffy have a lot in common, and they hate each other with a passion of strong feelings. But, except from Mickey and Bugs, Donald would be the only one who could actually relate to Daffy, similarily Mickey would be the only one who could relate to Bugs.

Mickey and Bugs in the film got along much more than Donald and Daffy. They did not try to hurt each other, although when Bugs told Valiant that he would not like his spare, Mickey persistened for Bugs to give it to him, and I guess that made Bugs a little mad.

If Daffy was placed with Mickey and Bugs would be paired with Donald that would be better, not good or bad, but better. But, Mickey and Donald might be interested in doing that, although they know that they will be friends forever, and they will always have a hook that keeps them best friends forever. Even, if Mickey liked Daffy and Donald liked Bugs and they become close friends, that might not hurt Mickey's or Donald's feelings, because they know that Mickey and Donald will be friends forever.

It may also be a little better, because Daffy would actually take more of an interest in Mickey and Bugs would actually take more of an interest in Donald, and Daffy may be more consistent of Mickey’s feelings than Donald would, and the same as Bugs with Donald. Mickey and Daffy may also have a lot in common opposed to Mickey and Donald and Bugs and Donald may also have a lot in common than opposed to Bugs and Daffy. But, Daffy knows that he can not offer Mickey the gift that Donald can, although he can also offer him a good gift, and likewise with Bugs knows that he can not offer Donald the gift that Mickey can offer him, but he can also offer him a good gift.

This is also interesting, because Mickey and Donald are friends, but also rivals. Whereas, Bugs and Daffy are rivals, but are not friends. And, even though Donald and Daffy are clearly rivals, and not friends, Mickey and Bugs are friends, and are also rivals. But, what about Mickey and Daffy and Donald and Bugs? I mean, are they frends-and-rivals, friends, or rivals?

Also, take a look at some of the similarities between the two pairs: Mickey and Daffy are black, Bugs and Donald are white, Mickey and Daffy are mischievious, more than Bugs and Donald, although Bugs and Donald are, too, and Bugs and Donald are vain, cocky, and boastful, just like Daffy, but Mickey is not.

So, I don't think Donald will go after Bugs and Daffy will go after Mickey. Because, if Donald goes after Bugs, what would Mickey or Daffy feel? And, if Daffy went after Mickey, how would Donald and Bugs feel?

And people think I'm obsessed with these cartoons...

Oh, yeah. Check out the film: "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".

While watching, focus on Donald and Daffy during their scene, Mickey and Bugs during their scene, and also at the end before the cartoon characters came out of the opened wall to check out Judge Doom's dead body. Focus on how everyone responded to Mickey, Bugs, and Daffy, after they spoke their lines. Meaning, all the characters, seen on the scene during that time. What cartoon characters had the like of liking each other and what cartoon characters did not?

I'm going to check out the film right away.

Lol. A double bill twist plot.

Well, anyway, I think that you could be talking about one of these 3 Hitchcock movies: Rope, Notorius, and/or Rear Window.

Interesting thought on Donald and Daffy agreeing to kill Bugs and Mickey for each other for the police not to get suspicious. Really interesting. I wonder, if we can make a list of other characters who can be involved in this kind of story.
