How did you survive the great Toonzone outage?

Spent much of my time on gaming forum and contributed on Toonzone's temporary forum, but this isn't very active, compared to real Toonzone due to glitches, especially circle on bottom.

Played more games, especially Zelda: TOTK, watched retro shows and caught up with Chucky TV's 2nd season and The Purge TV series.

Well I probably spent more time watching YouTube than before. I lurk around Twitter, so watching that site's development over the past few months has been an experience. I tried to make better use of my Crunchyroll and Netflix accounts, although that didn't plan out as well as I had hoped. Most of my animation news came from YouTube or from the official temporary site. I didn't like the layout of the temporary site myself. It certainly wasn't helpful to post my reviews for any episodes or series, but I thought it was serviceable given the circumstances. It has been a rough year for me personally, but I'm hoping that things will start to improve.

Did some more frequent edits to the Dragon Quest wiki and also working on exercising more often, albeit had my progress thrown off by a cold.

Oh and found the Beyblade Official channel on YouTube which has legit uploads of Beyblade, Beyblade V-Force and Beyblade G-Revolution.

Got onto a Back to the Future kick of sorts, even hitting up Pluto to watch all of the Spin City episodes and a few Family Ties stuff. Been doing more BTTF edits on Futurepedia, even rereading the IDW comics to keep track of characters, locations, objects, dates. Yeah dates cause time is a BTTF element.

And cause I have met self-esteem, I posted my collection of comics and stuff onto my Deviantart account. Be warned, checking the link and account will give you a strong dose of obsession:

And given my Back to the Future revisit, here is a recent purchase I made:

Watching stuff, like MST3k, RiffTrax, My Adventures with Superman, the Super Mario Bros movie, anything to pass the time.

One day in February, I decided to brows the forum like I would normally do (even though I hadn't made an account yet) and noticed that it was offline for some reason. Then days passed and over on Twitter I would find out why it was offline. Then the official temporary forums came about and it was difficult to browse, but at least I continued keeping up with this forum's updates over there. Then the outage ended, I made an account, and here I am.

I mostly lurked around the Discord server, sad it's not that active. Aside that I spent these last few months binging a ton of anime. I'm glad this site is back, I prefer it to most other places.

I've been off this forum for a few years now and had no idea what happened. Felt like coming back, but I didn't like that replacement blog forum.

So, I caught up with a lot of podcasts and binging some film and tv.

Honestly, found this whole outage kinda Suspect, but whatever.

I was in a panic when toonzone outage happened last February, other methods I use were nickstory fandom for schedules update. I recently got back twitter so I can post updates.

I was chatting very actively on Discord to calm down my stress. I've been so obsessed with this forum and I wasn't used to being gone once AnimeSuperHero shut down. It's back at least and I immediately notice that I'm not chatting on Discord a lot anymore.

Great to have the forum be back. But I wish it was more active and have stuff going on to liven things up. It's about the same as before the place went down, in terms of activity. That said, I'll try to do what I can to do my part in whatever I post on the forum. There's stuff I would like to talk about, but I don't know if much/enough people would be interested.

It was a DARK time, scrounging for every scrap of cartoon, risking life and limb for forum...

Those days are behind me now, but I have been forever changed.

I been gone from the board for 12 years. I only heard recently that the board came back from some people on another forum. So I figured it should be time for to make a come back.
I’m the same case, though it’s been only seven (?) years.

I had moved for a new job, didn’t have cable, so I couldn’t really watch Toonami. Which was the main reason I was still on TZ to participate in the weekly Toonami live watch. With so much going on, I just stop showing up.

I did join the Anime Superhero Discord, though I wish there was more going on there. When I learned the forums was back, I decided to take a look again for old times sake.

Looks like before now, you were last posting in April of 2019. So more like 4 and a half years. :D Welcome back!! (and you too, @Majin_Megabyte !!)

Well for one thing, I saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie when it was in theaters…seven times in fact (as I mentioned on the other thread, that’s how watchable it is).

Other than that, I just checked back every so often for any news about it…

What's your avatar from? It's cute!
This heat is unbearable.
Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
