"It’s quite an accomplishment when an independent project gets picked up from a major studio. That’s the case with Goldie, which was announced to be coming to Apple TV on February 14, 2025. Here’s everything that you need to know.

Goldie is an Apple TV show based on the YouTube pilot of the same name. Both the show and the original shirt are created by Emily Brundige, who’s worked on many notable projects. She helped develop Harvey Girls Forever for DreamWorks Animation Television, and was a major writer on projects like Lego Scooby Doo: Blowout Beach Bash, Hilda, and Big Nate. The Goldie show follows a giant girl named Goldie (voiced in the original short by Charlyne Yi). Despite her huge size, she has a big heart that makes her incredibly endearing to watch. In this thirteen episode series, Goldie sets off on epic adventures with her best friends in their beloved town of Boysenberg. Together, they learn that being different is something to celebrate, and that there’s space for everyone in this world — even giants."

I think this show would be better if the main character didn't cry so gosh Darn much, honestly & unfortunately enough.

BOTH Pinecone & Pony + Harriet The Spy benefitted by knowing better, in comparison. Shame Pinecone & Pony is so easily forgotten, tho, to go off subject. At least Harriet the Spy has a quiet following, which is earned & deserved.
