I saw The New Empire on Saturday and dare I say it, it was enjoyable and worth the three-year wait.

I finally got around to watching this. Felt like they really worked on giving the Titans a bit more personality than previous movies. It's always crazy seeing the technological advances MONARCH makes from movie to movie. The Project Powerhouse glove alone, so bonkers but it plays. I loved exploring more of Hollow Earth, learning more mythology, and the connections made like with the Iwi and Skull Island and Mothra. Brian Tyree Henry and Dan Stevens really stole the spotlight and they were a hoot - it adds some flair let's call it instead of the usual dour scientist characters with family issues. A podcaster and a Titan vet. That's just magic, lol. Gargantuan Insurance was a funny bit but makes sense a company would jump on that. Other surprises were getting into some social commentary I suppose you could call it, even Kong could perceive slavery and know it was bad. Nice to see he finally found some of his own kind and liberated them. That would effectively make him King Kong now... the little guy trying to trick him was hilarious and they slowly bonded. Sad his relative got murdered in front of him. And also Trapper pointing out the doc would affect the Iwi. Loved the throwback of Mothra being the mediator and of all places, Godzilla picking the Roman Coliseum as his new bed. But oi, Italy, Egypt, South America - lot more places got super wrecked in this movie. Only thing that confused me was how Skar's group was able to get to MONARCH's Hollow One base and destroy it. Thought they were trapped in the sub realm until the end.

Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
