FUNimation Licensing Blitz Coming

Watch them licenses like a ton of obscure stuff like Mamotte Shugogetten or Sugar Sugar Rune. Do you know what either of those anime series are? No, I didn't think so.

As a matter of fact...I do. If FUNimation announced Sugar Sugar Rune, I'd probably have a fangasm. As far as I am concerned, Moyoco Anno is Awesome, and all of her works should be adapted as anime and licensed in America.

You know if FUNi ever wants to break out into a mons franchise, I hope they bring over Onmyo Taisenki. It's obscure but it's all levels of awesome. In fact, it's the only mons show I've ever liked more than Digimon Tamers.

Actually, those two series would make my day... That way the work I started with SSR would finally get finished!

I highly doubt this but maybe one of the new lisences is a show taken from 4kids. I mean, they lost 4 different shows alone this year, so it's not like there isn't plenty up for grabs.

I'm also hoping for Gintama too, that show needs an english dub, it already has an... Italian dub so it deserves an English one too!

It's just a thought but since Funi now owns rights on Tales of Phantasia, I wonder if they would consider licensing Symphonia...? Again, just a thought.

I haven't had the time to get into Soul Eater but I'd still like Funi to license it anyway but what I really would like to see licensed is Nodame Cantabile. (I'm guessing they'd have to borrow the rights on all the classical music featured in the show and that could be what's been preventing them as well as other licensing companies from reaching out.)

Haven't seen Nodame Cantabile, but I am willing to bet most of the classical pieces used in it are public domain, or dirt cheap.

It would be even better if they brought back the original cast, they did it with Tenchi Muyo! and the Sakura Wars OVA's!!

Also it'd be easier for you since, you're using that footage to make your Evangelion abridged

Considering how much of a money maker Evangelion is, they'll fly the actors out to Ft.Worth/Houston if they have to.

They did it for Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion, after all.

This WOULD be interesting since 4Kids is now leaning more to Shout! Factory to release their dubs now.

As for Viewtiful Joe, will that still have an auidence even after the dip in the ratings on Kids' WB?
