My ZON decoder fails sometimes when I try to watch something on the Restart TV function!
Do you have a debit card that can act as a credit card? I have a couple different debit cards that are tied to checking accounts that have the Visa logo on it and can be used as a Visa card. When I use it as a Visa card, it just takes money from my checking account. If I don't have enough money, it doesn't work, so I don't have to worry about getting into debt. When people keep pestering me to get a credit card - when I know that's just a bad idea with how things are for people who have them in general. I've heard the horror stories and don't want any part of them in my trashy enough life.
I don't think this topic needs responses to problems, but this one needs a little bit of debunking. When people keep pestering me to get a credit card - when I know that's just a bad idea with how things are for people who have them in general. Credit cards are only horrible if you're utterly terrible or naive with your finances. If you use it to spend in the same means as you would cash and not go overboard like it's endless money, you'll be fine. It's also a cheap and efficient way of building up your credit score for a home purchase or large loan of some variety or anything else you need where cash (or stored gold) won't be enough.
I don't have a smart phone, a DVR or a Facebook account. Do I even qualify as living in the first world by today's standards?
