"There's the way it ought to be, and there's the way it is."

(Yeah, I just watched Platoon for the second time tonight. That's a quote many people could stand to take to heart even now.)

"In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move."-Douglas Adams.

"This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype. Well, it used to mean something in this town. They used to pull the hog out, and they used to eat it. You're hypocrites, all of you! You have a problem with what I'm saying, Larry? [Larry shakes his head] Untie your tongue, and you come out here and talk, huh? Am I upsetting you, Princess? [Rita shakes her head]"-Bill Murray, Groundhog Day, in one of the funniest moments in the movie.

I also love this exchange between Phil and a drunk: "What would you do if you were stuck in one place, and everything that you did was the same, and nothing mattered?" "That about sums it up for me."

"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is."-Yoda, of course.

"Jeff, wives don't nag anymore. They discuss." "Oh, is that so, is that so? Well, maybe in the high-rent district they discuss. In my neighborhood they still nag."-Rear Window

Raven: (Looking at the damaged curtains) So, did you and the curtains have some sort of argument?

Starfire: Uh... yes! Today is... Gorb-Gorb, the Tamaranian Festival of... Berating Drapery! STUPID CURTAINS!!! (Starfire fires a blast from her eyes, obliterating the remaining curtains and everything behind them.)

Raven: Aliens.

Danny: Bye Vlad, and as a lonely single man in your forties, might I suggest internet dating? Or a cat!!

Vlad: Mark my words Maddie, no one says no to Vlad Masters! You will rue the day you spurned my affections! And I. Will. Not. Get. A. Cat!!

Hannibal Bean: That Chase has girly hair. A real warrior shaves his head, like me!

Chase Young: Hah! You could pour fertilizer on that head and NOTHING would grow!

"He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of all the pain of being a man." - Avenged Sevenfold in their song "Bat Country".

"In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move."-Douglas Adams.
I remember laughing out loud when I first read that!:D

Oh, and a quote.
"I have just read that I am dead. Don't forget to delete me from your list of subscribers."
- Rudyard Kipling, writing to a magazine that announced that he was dead.

Well, here are some of my favorite Star Wars qoutes:

"Run, Jedi, run. You're only delaying the inevitable." General Greivous

"Victory? Victory, you say? Master Obi-Wan, not victory. The shroud of the Dark Side has fallen. Begun, the Clone War has." Master Yoda

Dooku, cringing, shrinking with dread, still finds some hope in his heart that he is wrong, that Palpatine has not betrayed him, that this has all been proceeding according to plan-

Until he hears "Good, Anakin! Good! I knew you could do it!" and registers that this is Palpatine's voice and feels within the darkest depths of all he is the approach of the words that are to come next.

"Kill him," Palpatine says. "Kill him now."

General Grievous: "This is your chance to surrender, General Kenobi! Pau City is in my grip; lay down your blade or I will squeeze...until this entire sinkhole brims over with innocent blood!"

Obi-Wan: "That's not what it's about to brim with. You should pay more attention to the weather."

Grievous: "What?"

Obi-Wan: "Have a look outside. It's about to start raining clones."

"If only you knew how long I've been waiting for this..." Darth Sidious, to Masters Mace Windu and Kit Fisto

"So this is how liberty dies: with thunderous applause." Senator Padme Amidala

"It is time. Execute Order 66." Darth Sidious

"At an end your reign is, and not short enough it was!" Master Yoda

Words of wisdom from a Marx brother

Y'know, for the silent partner of that famous trio of the Marx Brothers, Harpo was surprisingly verbose. The following three quotes are all from his autobiography Harpo Speaks!, and are taken from the list of "house rules" followed by himself, his wife and their four kids.

"Life has been created for you to enjoy, but you won't enjoy it unless you pay for it with some good, hard work. This is one price that will never be marked down."

"If things get too much for you and you feel the whole's world's against you, go stand on your head." (this one is my absolute favorite)

"Don't worry about what other people think. The only person in the world important enough to conform to is yourself."

-Kim

"Cakes are done, people are finished." -my second-grade teacher

"What do you say about a generation that has been taught that rain is poison and sex is death? If making love might be fatal and if a cool spring breeze on any summer afternoon can turn a crystal blue lake into a puddle of black poison right in front of your eyes, there is not much left except TV and relentless masturbation. It's a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat sh-t and die." ~ Hunter S. Thompson

"Strategery!" - Will Ferrell as George W. Bush (v.Al Gore)

"...in a van DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!" Chris Farley as Matt Foley

"Oh, what fresh hell is this?" - Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane

"Osama's Homo-bortion Jizzporium" - Jon Stewart on The Daily Show

"KELLY CLARKSON!!!" The 40-year Old Virgin

"Where does He get those wonderful toys?" - Jack Nicholson's Joker

just about anything from the mouths of George Carlin, Stephen Colbert, and Bender!

About feeling inferior......

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.....Eleanor Roosevelt, 'This Is My Story,' 1937

Fresh from the pages of Entertainment Weekly:

"There is a building in New York City that is keeping loiterers away by using a device that plays annoying, high-pitched screeching sounds. It's called The View."

--Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show

I love it! :D

"I can't stand escalators. They're like mean stairs." - Kury Wagner

This is a quote I grabbed from a song that I really like.

“Why give up, Why give in.
It’s no enough, it never is.
But I will go on until the end.”

- Breaking Benjamin from the song “Until the End”

"Man, I see in Fight Club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see it squandered. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy ***** we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off. " ~ Tyler Durden, Fight Club

Truer words have never been spoken

The quote goes something like this...

"If you spend your life standing in the way of other people's dreams, then you end up alone, with no dreams at all." ---Anonymous

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
