This has been the weakest of the new episodes. The side-plot, with Stewie and Brian in the fake business, was much funnier than the Lois plot, if only because I've worked in an office and can relate to Stewie's comments. The compliment sandwich was great, as was the "dangerously close to b*tch" coffee mug joke.
And the Peter: "I'll jerk off to your picture" Chris: "Me too! Meg: "Me too!" Peter: "Get out" joke was funny and got a callback later in the episode.
But again, lots of missed opportunities and laziness. The Greased Up Deaf Guy was lame (he was only funny in "The Thin White Line"), the evil monkey is getting WAY too predictable, the Peter ecstacy thing went on WAY too long and wasn't funny at all, the four tenors was an odd idea but never made me laugh, and even things that should be funny weren't, such as Cookie Monster addicted to cookie dough. I suppose because we've seen this kind of joke on Family Guy before so it didn't surprise me.
I never thought I'd do this to a Family Guy episode, and I almost hate to, because it makes me look like a whining internet nerd, but... last night's episode gets a GRADE: C
