Even Stevens?

Who liked that show? I do I wish it would come back on disney channel but I guess not... I saw they moved it but any thoughts? I seem not to be making good threads no more...

I love Even Stevens. Unfortunately, I didn't discover it until right near the end of its run, but then I just had plenty of reruns to catch up on. It was a really good show. Funny, occasionally a little zany, but also touching at times. I managed to get every episode but one on tape back in 2003 when Disney ran the entire series in correct order. I liked the movie, too, though it wasn't exactly the kind of story I would have liked to seen. But I can honestly say it's one of the very few shows about young people that I could personally relate to. A lot of it reminded me of my own days in junior high, and a couple episodes were almost borderline autobiographical.

I wish Disney would release it on DVD (they have to know how popular it was), but I guess they just don't care once something has been eclipsed by the next big thing.

I too love Even Stevens and wish they would release season dvd sets.

I prefered the last episode of the series as the ending to the series than the movie being the ending.

I tend to agree. The movie acts more like just another (extended) episode than it does a real ending to the series.

I'm not sure if WGN has different programming for different areas, but I can watch Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire every weekday at five on WGN. It was quite a clever show.

I'm still ticked that Phil of the Future was canceled though. Sometimes I wonder why I even get attached to tv shows these days.
