Does anyone here remember Pucca? It ran on Jetix on Toon Disney from 2006 to 2008.

Eh, I thought it was quite repetitive. Doesn't Pucca do something else besides chase Guru all day? I personally wasn't a fan of Pucca, but at least the character designs were very cute and the theme song was quite catchy. And it was adorable to see Pucca and Guru pair up as a couple (though, it's not what Guru is thinking at least) even though it got old really fast. But personally, I'll take Ying Yang Yo! over Pucca if I had to chose.

Pucca was OK, but it felt more like a one episode wonder rather than a full series. Though, I wouldn't mind if Pucca came back to Disney XD as reruns.

I never saw it on TV, but I did watch a few shorts on Youtube recently. Pretty interesting and somewhat strange show. Like Panini from Chowder had her own show or something.

Yin Yang Yo! > Pucca

Peace spoken, everyone!

I remember watching it, but I don't remember all tat much from it.

I was joking with someone about Pucca a few months ago but I really didn't think it was a show that would be that remembered.

Was this show mostly silent or was it just the main characters?

Apparently only the 2 lead characters, Pucca and Garu, never spoke. This was to give the show global appeal ostensibly.

I only caught fleeting glimpses of this show; it had kind of a creepy undertone to it, so I generally avoided it. I'm not that big on stalker-ish one-sided romances. Take a hint already.

I just remember seeing commercials for it. I never seen an episode.

I remember watching that back during the Jetix days. Yeah the romantic chase got old pretty fast, but I remember it more for the designs and the background characters antics. Particularly the girl with the bird in her hair, that "Bruce Lee" kid that always tore open his shirt for any type of action shot, that rival ninja that was always trying to kill Gamu and that vain girl who turned into some kind of warrior/opera singer with attack braids when she got pissed off enough.
Honestly if they had made it more about them than the title character I'd probably have watched it more.

I recall seeing a bit of the show, over here we never had Jetix so it aired on a terrestrial channel called SIC.
I only remember the theme song and a bit of the episodes. Plus it aired in the morning hours, sometimes it aired on school days and I couldn't see it in full.

My very first post! Yes, I used to watch Pucca on TV back in 2008. Feel sad that Disney no longer continues the production.

Pucca is still popular around the world even when the series had ended. It's currently selling mobile apps and a lot more merchandise. And it still airs on Disney XD Latin America. So the Pucca franchise is still there.

That's mainly because Pucca was a series of webtoons before Disney made a cartoon.

When I first saw the show, I thought it was kind of dumb, and the plot was silly. But after watching a few more episodes (I think from the second season), I realize this show isn't that bad. It's very Looney Tune-ish in its setup, and did have plenty of slapstick which I always enjoy.

The Looney Tune - ish setup and effective usage of good slapstick is what kept this show from being absolutely unwatchable, IMHO - Seriously, that gimmick of one - sided crush is kills interest in ever revisiting this show anytime soon for me.

I watched this show back when it came out. So many of the episodes made me laugh so freaking hard.

The Voyo-exclusive Romanian dub of Garfield and Friends goes on with the second season now being relased. I was afraid they will forget about the show after only one season.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.

Conflicted about the upcoming film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, given the creator now distancing herself from it despite co-writing the screenplay and blocking one of the actresses on social media despite defending her casting in the film.
