While I enjoy traditional animation, the Green Lantern and new "Batman" CGI have really got me liking the medium. Which projects would you really like to see done in CGI?

Kingdom Come would be awesome in CGI and probably my top pick. My second choice would be Justice League: A League of One. The dragon along with the medievel and mythological settings would be great IMO. I would also be interested in seeing JLA: Rock of Ages done in this manner. Which projects would you like to see in CGI and what are some of your opinions on the chances of this happening for full length features?

Id just like to see an aquaman tv series in CGI, I think that would be pretty sick.

Yea!! After seeing Atlantis in YJ, I know that at the very least, the visuals will be amazing!

I'd like to see a Superman and Wonder Woman CGI show.
A Supergirl CGI show would be hoping for too much.

Kindom Come as a CGI film would be amazing, I think this would be the best way to approach it but it would be expensive.

Also I wouldn't be against a CGI Superman show, but CG or not I just hope we get a new Superman show, we must be with the new film coming out, surely.

A DTV in CG isn't so unbelievable anymore now with Marvel working on Iron Man/Hulk and Big Hero Six.

What would a DC DTV wishlist thread be without a Kingdom Come nomination? :)

I know a lot of people revere the KC art, and I suppose I qualify as an Alex Ross fan. I think the defining element of that book is probably the photo-realistic approach to the art, in a medium not really well known for using real life reference. In that regard, I think CGI would be a practical approach to animating it, so long as the budget is sufficiently high. I think it would at least have to be on the level of something like the FMV trailers for DC Universe Online or Arkham City. If not, I think there'd be a bit of that underwhelming feeling fans got when they first saw The Kingdom, in which Ross' art was not used and we got the more traditional comic fare. With that in mind, I can't imagine we'd get that kind of movie any time soon due to cost, and Bruce Timm has pretty much shot down that movie idea repeatedly, so it'll likely stay buried on fans' wishlists indefinitely.

There aren't too many existing stories that I would insist upon being animated using CGI. If the goal is to capture the artistic style of the source, CGI can be pretty iffy. IMO, in addition to photo-realism, the real aesthetic benefit of 3D animation other than occurs when you try to make highly detailed landscapes and environments that aren't static. So if they really wanted to take advantage of CGI's unique benefits, I'd insist upon either realistic visuals such as Kingdom Come, or a story in which interaction with the surroundings and exploring is fairly essential to the story. Otherwise, 2D is good enough for me, and probably more cost-effective.

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
