DC/Warner need to get off their duffs...

I personally wouldn't spend my leftover bubble gum money to see a Justice League movie without the Big Three. To do such a film without their heaviest hitters would simply be insanity. (Not to mention box office suicide.)

Anyway, I heard (if G4's "The Feed" is any kind of reliable source of information) that Christian Bale and Brandon Routh have each already been signed to appear in the movie, so yes, the Trinity will be in it. (So most likely the JL film will come out after the Wonder Woman movie, whenever that happens.)

Also, as I've already mentioned, the JL movie is said to based off the JLA comics, not the CN show, so no John Stewart or Shayera Hol. The Green Lantern featured will be Hal Jordan, and if there's a Hawk person in it at all, it will most likely be Hawkman. Sorry, John and Hawkgirl fans.

Warner really needs to get moving on its non-big 3 hero movies. I know their are scripts being done for some minor characters (Deadman, etc). But, what is the hold up for bigger names such as Flash & Green Lantern. Get into production sometime before I die. :D

Agreed, Marvel comics is beating them up pretty badly in that department .

I don't think it's quite likely. The Justice League movie will face the same problems that the Justice League cartoon faced regarding demographics. The Justice League in the comics is a bunch of white males with the only exception of Wonder Woman, who happen to be white as well.

To appeal to a broader audience, it's important to have an African American character. And it's better to be an important one in the story. In addition, it's important to have more than one woman in the main roster.

So, I think it's more likely that a huge blockbuster Justice League movie has John Stewart over Hal Jordan and Shayera Hol over Hawkman.

I personally think the Justice League movie should have less members than it's comic counterpart: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (John Stewart) and Flash (Wally West). Aquaman could be added, but only if the story doesn't start to get too crowded.

For The JLA movie they've got to have the Original 7

BATMAN - Bruce Wayne

SUPERMAN - Clark Kent

WONDER WOMAN - Diana

THE FLASH - Wally West

The Green Lantern - either Hal , Kyle or John

Aquaman - Arthur Curry

The Martian Manhunter - John jones

Robin - Dick Grayson or tim Drake

Starfire

Wonder girl - Donna Tory

Kid Flash

Raven

Beast Boy

The Trinity will be in the JL movie. Deal with it. There's no way that anyone is going to make a Justice League film without the Big 3. Economically, that would be a disaster. Big names are what sells, and no one's going to to go see a JL movie without it's anchors. That would be like making an X-Men movie without Wolverine, Cyclops or Storm, or an Avengers film without Capt. America, Iron man or Thor. What are they supposed to do, put Flash at the front and center? Make it Aquaman or Hawkman's team? I agree with DR. MID NITE; any Justice League movie made up of only 2nd bananas would just be a TV movie of the week and would head straight to Blockbuster Video inside of 2 months. They could keep it.

Anyway, just because Supes, Bats and Wondy would get a sufficient amount of screen time, that doesn't automatically mean that the others would get next to none. Why must it be either all Trinity or none at all? The TV show did a good job of balancing between 7 main characters, so why shouldn't we expect the same from the movie?

I was going to use the same analogy with Wolverine and the X-men. As much as I would love a World's Finest movie where Supes and Bats meet. It probably won't happen. The big 3 have to be in it. I asked some friends and family who aren't big comic fans. If they would see a Justice League movie. They almost all said the same thing. Thats the group that has superman or batman and other heroes. Everyone associated it with either Superman or Batman.
Also, with computer and special effects now. They could do the powers of the heroes without it blowing the budge to hell.

Young Justice, You mentioned demographics why John Stewart would be used. They could use Vixen or as I would prefer Steel...Just for the fact that a well done live action Steel would erase the memory of Shaq from my mind. :)

Between adding a character for demographics like Vixen or Steel, or replacing a character within the original seven (Hal Jordan by John Stewart), I'll go by replacing. In addition, to really please this demographics, the character has to be important in the story. Vixen and Steel wouldn't be as important as the big 7.

A JL movie would be crowded by definition. If we could avoid adding characters, I think it's the best way to go.

Cyclops appeared in X-Men 2-3? Oh yeah, I recall some appearances.

In regards to the race issue, one possible idea would be to have J'onn (who's a shapeshifter) morph into a human form shortly after arriving on Earth, and he could look like an African-American in his human form. That way, they'd be fulfilling their racial balance requirement and keep Hal Jordan as the GL on the team.

As for another woman, they could always use Black Canary, since she was a founding member of the JSA.

I'd sort of like them to use Stewart, the hard*** personality he has in JL/JLU would diversitize the League a little more.

I completely agree. Besides demographics, it was another reason to use some characters instead the more classical ones.

You know, I would have a great laugh if Batman and Superman's first appearence went like it did in the DCAU.

Superman: [Uses x-ray vision to see through mask] "What's a billionaire playboy doing at this time of night dressed like that?"

Batman: "D***."

[Later after their conversation is over].

Superman: [Arrives at home and begins changing back into civilian clothes, phones rings].

Batman: [On Phone, sipping coffee in the Bat Mobile] "Up for a late night snack?"

Superman: [Crushes phone] "D***."

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
