"Not in the face, is what your wife said." Then Andy shoots the computer.:anime:

It was short, but I loved Basic Cable Name That Tune last night.

"...I'm gonna ask you to identify the very popular and expensive song it kinda sounds like, but in a court of law we can prove it's not!"

Yeah, that was pretty amusing. I especially liked how Conan got "weirded out" by the people from the audience.

Harland Williams was a hoot as always.

I think it was maybe Tuesday where Conan had the great joke about Taco Bell's $3 million ad campaign about their beef:

"...That explains why they changed their slogan from 'Think Outside the Bun' to 'Hey, it's food for 89 cents!'"

On Wednesday's episode, Chelsea Handler made me reevaluate my decision to watch Conan while I have my lunch the next day. I actually quit watching it, watched Mr. Sunshine and then went back it after I was done. I am definitely going to have to think about the guests that will be on before I do that again.

She's a ghastly woman. I remember seeing the intro and when her name popped up I had a sinking feeling she was going to churn out an awful interview. For me this had to be the worst or second worst interview he's had so far on the new show, the other being the Kardashian Fembots.

Anyway I liked that one beardo who was in the crowd tonight. He was just so weird, I was with Andy something looked fake about that beard;) I also liked before he did his Snooki guest hosting WWE joke that there were a few woos from the crowd. His imitation of "I hope he talks about wrestling" was actually funnier than the joke but that's usually the case with Cone Bone.

I'm loving this new feature of "HahaIfoundanerror" user submissions, and Conan gleefully telling the viewers that they're wrong.

Like when the guy said the CD player in the background of a sketch said "No CD" and then Conan said: "Oh yeah? It says "No CD... could be... this bad.", referencing Kim Kardashian's new CD.

Heh, they mentioned Triumph during that random audience member's Mardi Gras report.

I still wonder why they haven't tried to bring back Triumph yet...IIRC, that should be the one Conan character that NBC didn't have a stake in.

Somehow I don't see the animal handler ever coming on again. Although it went fine up till the snake. I caught my breath a couple times

Yeah that wasn't great & giving the snakes 'natural enemy' to the untrained Conan probably wasn't a great idea.

I can only watch Conan now through the website clips (curse my Britishness-ness) but that version of The Social Network was hilarious and way better than the actual film.

That "US Armed Forces 3rd String" commercial was classic.

"I'm pretty good at Call of Duty." "Good enough!"

"I work at Old Navy." "You're ready for the REAL Navy!"

"What?" "Congratulations! You're an admiral!"

"Just write YES and put in an envelope addressed to AMERICA!"

That was a great bit and although I'm a few days late on it, Conan's song "Thursday" was awesome. The part that always gets me is when Deon Cole starts rapping. I liked him well enough on the Tonight Show but I think he's been 10 times funnier on this show.

I didn't even realize he was on the old show. You're right - his was the best part of the song.

Getting mighty tired of Conan making fun of Kirstie Ally's weight. Seriously man. That's spiteful. He's been doing it for years. The woman's 900 pounds by Hollywood standards: we get it.

I would totally agree that it's uncalled for, but the Kirstie Alley did use her weight to get a gig with Jenny Craig and her own show called Fat Actress. Once she used her weight as a way to cash in, I think she made herself a fair target.

She's 900 pounds by anyone's standards :p

Moving to TBS is doing wonderful things for Conan's show; it's actually making Deon Cole seem funny. I didn't enjoy him at all when Conan was on NBC, but here actually makes me laugh sometimes.

When Andy held the flashlight up to his face, Conan more or less verified that they can't do In The Year 2K/3K anymore. :(

EDIT: The Miz interview was HILARIOUS. Definitely one of my top five so far.

Agreed. I haven't followed wrestling in years, so I had no idea who The Miz was, but that interview had me in stitches. My favorite part was when The Miz nicknamed Conan 'The Ginja Ninja' and gave him a new catchphrase. I liked the phrase so much that I made it my current avatar label.

I liked the "Ginga Ninja" thing, but it largely seemed like the wrestling guy just wanted to own the entire interview. Sure, Conan's not Barbara Walters or anything, but respect man!

"In the back of an SUV!" was funny. Have to admit, I wasn't watching when Conan and Andy were together the first time around, so I wasn't sure he'd bring much to the show. He has.

I loved the video too and Deon was great. "Why is there a rapper here?"

The thoughts on the legal issues seem to have gone back and forth a little bit (at least here), so it was disheartening to hear that, but I'm glad to have it fully resolved in at least my mind. I love that bit.

"That was a rapper so that makes this a real song.":D

I thought the Miz interview was fun and I liked how he was giving Conan some guff for holding the title upside down( not to hard to imagine why he would as I think most people would ) but I was a bit bummed there was no new episode yesterday especially as we just came off a whole week of old episodes last week.

Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
