Warcraft 3
Half-Life 2- When it comes out.
Doom 3- When it comes out. PCGamer gave it a 94%, and wouldn't shut up about how cool it is. I don't blame them.
Rainbow Six series
Rise of Nations
Star Wars: KOTOR
Call of Duty
FarCry-Currently playing and loving it.
Counter-Strike- Everyone needs a great MP game.
Unreal Tourney 2K4
BattleField:Vietnam
NeverWinter Nights
Syberia I & II

That's all I can think of. I mostly know FPS, so I'm sure someone can give more reccomendations that aren't FPS's.

The Fallout games, Deus Ex and Half Life are the best PC games I've played.

if you want to play games like diablo try the commando series or the hundreds of diablo clones that you can find on every 7th episode of xplay.

also since you want a game similiar to tribes, try half-life's multiplayer with thousands of mods or the unreal series. The command and conquer games are also really good.

The only way I'd ever buy it is if they let anybody with a Condition Zero key beta test Counter-Strike on the Source engine.

Most of those games r good but diablo is one of those special games that kinda has almost nothing just like it, i mean like a view like the 1 in D2 and like swords and stuff.
