CN Schedule Updates

They're called differing opinions. I get the feeling you just don't want to accept that some people do, in fact, like the show for what it is. And while some of them may get sick of it, others may not for all you know.

I've made it clear that I don't like PPG 2016, but you don't see me belittling those that do like it.

i understand opinions exist. i also understand that tastes eventually evolve. and for whatever bizarre reason people do like any of the current reboots will eventually see that their original counterparts are night and day in quality

I've actually been binge-watching the old Teen Titans show lately. Been absolutely loving it so far.

But it's hard for me not to moderately enjoy Go for what it is whenever I turn it on. Yeah, it's inferior, but keep in mind it's not even trying to be the old show, which is what makes me prefer it over PPG 2016.

So, there ya go. Just accept that some people do, in fact, like the show for legitimate reasons, the fact they do so does not make them any less tasteful, and whether or not they continue to like the show over time is completely on them. Just because we like a show many others don't doesn't mean we don't have a sense of taste.

i'd understand your opinion if we're talking more about the first season which i admit was decent but gone to crap fast but otherwise we will look back at this and realize how stupid the show really is. But this isnt the subject now, the point is that its only a matter of time until ttg infects the network making it the TTG network unless the network doesnt make drastic changes to improve their overall cable programming. These marathons have done nothing but spell disaster for the network and their constant app push is just killing ratings even more as the app is failing. of course their current boomerang schedule is inexcusable and something nobody can defend and is just disappointing how they rarely air any old shows anymore. I mean seriously? This has to be one of the dumbest decision they've made to completely scrap all their classic christmas specials for a lousy TTG marathon that people are already sick of

Turner themselves stated that ratings don't mean much to them anymore. This basically means that the app killing ratings is near meaningless to them. They're the business professionals, not us, so I would just take their word for it if I were you no matter how much you may disapprove of it.

Turner themselves stated that ratings don't mean much to them anymore. This basically means that the app killing ratings is near meaningless to them. They're the business professionals, not us, so I would just take their word for it if I were you no matter how much you may disapprove of it.

you dont seem to take into account that even the people in cartoon network studios hate the decision the president and vishnu is doing. and i most certainly dont buy that they think that they will live without ratings. they're apathy for the network will eventually lead to their demise. business people or not they're decisions are still shortsighted and idiotic all the same. If they really were "professionals" then they would be smart enough to listen to what the fans want which was to cut off TTG from the schedule especially with the backlash, get rid of PPG2016, quit the marathons of their reboots, a revival of KND yet they've turned it down. And taking everything they say just because they're in the business is just taking everything with mountains of salt, Im sure Konami were "business professionals", are you gonna support everything they did? Im sure Youtube up till now with their demonitizing power trip is a "professional" business move. being in a business doesnt mean anything if they fail to have common sense

If the executives want to make clear of their hatred of what Miller and VIshnu are doing, they would either say so themselves (and risk termination) or have an anonymous source say it for them. Until then, you, I, everyone else here and especially this YouTuber and their (clearly opinion) video...

So I checked the schedule again and from Decemebr 24 through at least Thursday, December 28 it's literally five consecutive days of literally nothing but Teen Titans Go! FIVE days in a row. At this rate it's giving August 1-7th's schedule a run for it's money.

Oh Boy, I can't wait until Vailskibum94 talks about that. Again, if you don't like the series, just steer clear of the channel by then.

Because that's Warner Brothers Animation, not Cartoon Network Studios to decide.

yeah i never said the execs were the one that hated it, i meant the studio animators werent happy with the decisions. of course the studio cant outright say it since they're contract bound but obviously they despise how they're own shows are poorly treated. and the jason clearly aint allowed to leak the source (who clearly is on point in his videos) but otherwise its blatant how execs poorly manages the network so its hardly "closed doors"

Or they'll probably never try to cancelled anyway and the only way that they can is if WBA stops producing the show for its episodes or when CN decides to find another show that will take its place.

I never liked his videos TBH. They just always felt super redundant and were catering to people who don't want to think for themselves.

Not to mention he talks about TTG way too freakin' much.

That doesn't change the fact that it's kind of a bold statement to make when you don't have any evidence to go by. It's simply not the kind of thing you should merely assume just because you feel this way about the network.

In fact, in my book it's borderline conspiracy theory territory.
