Honestly, at this point they are pushing their app and other digital services so hard that the TTG marathons aren't even worth complaining about anymore. If you have a problem with it, either use said digital services or watch a different channel.

And yes, I do get that what I said doesn't quite excuse the overexposure and that they should still try to make it better in spite of their digital pushes. However, people should understand that these kinds of marathons are the exception rather the rule like they claim it is.

This practice isn't killing most of their shows nor is a display of contempt for the viewers. They are just running a business, and the people who prefer watching the live feed seem to be those that generally prefer watching TTG. Even if it's not ideal, understand that live TV isn't everything anymore and the network clearly loves Steven Universe enough to give it all sorts of things this year alone that they haven't given to any other show.

Just... move on with your life and find better things to do. I can't wait for the day the live feed becomes so irrelevant to the network's success that people will stop endlessly ranting about things much more trivial than they let on.

I think this change that has gone under the radar it seems could be a positive one in the sense it could bring more variety eventually.
She works at Warner Bros., not CN. This won’t have any effect on the schedule.

Ahem, Warner Bros makes shows for CN/Boom sort of. Thus indirectly it will. Whatever new they produce CN/Boom can potentially air.

Sorry, I thought you meant it in a different sense.

I definitely agree. CN has also been making it pretty apparent that they're trying to move viewers into their app based off of all these CN commercials involving the app.

Last night, I saw a commercial for another weekend of unlocked full episodes on the app. There was also a commercial a a little over a month ago for "SEE IT FIRST" episodes of Gumball on the app before they're on TV, and just today I saw another one for "SEE IT FIRST" episodes of Steven Universe (Which I just watched all of today, and really enjoyed them). I even saw a commercial for the Ben 10: Omni-Tricked movie that said you can watch the first 10-minutes on the app (They even had commercials for numerous weeks to see the Alien of the Week episodes before they came on TV).

This is a "rolling with the times" type of initiative with CN. They've already done this with Boomerang app, and pretty successfully so since I've heard the Boomerang app has been quite popular. Though they aren't completely abandoning their live feeds since many people do still have cable, it's clear that their live feed is becoming less and less of a priority as time goes on because cable in general is dying out. CN has the lowest ratings out of the big 3 kids' networks, garnering less than 1 million viewers for a majority of their Friday night premieres, even with advertising. That's a pretty clear sign that changes will soon need to be made, so CN is just in that process of getting to the change by pushing their app.

In the mean time, maybe it's helpful for them to push on cable their property that actually does garner the highest ratings out of all their shows currently on the air, which is why Teen Titans Go is being pushed so hard (I'm just speculating this, for all I know this may not be the reason AT ALL).

So maybe unhappy viewers need to "roll with the times" like CN is and start using the app or on demand to watch what you want. You'll get the choice of what to watch, and you can watch as much as you want without an Adult Swim interruption at 8PM. And if you really just want to see classics, then CN On Demand has been recently adding classic Cartoon Cartoons and other old CN originals, so you can watch those as much as you want. Plus the CN app has Ben 10 Classic and every episode of the 2003 Teen Titans.

It's important to realize that there are a lot of benefits to this streaming era. We have no idea why CN makes the business and scheduling decisions that they do, and we most likely never will, but if you're unhappy with what CN is playing on TV then just do what @Toon4Thought said and "use digital services or watch a different channel".

That's what I've been doing, watching a different channel, to take my mind off of what they were showing now I've been watching most of the older CN shows/commercials online.

Please don't mention or compare Politicians to a CEO of a TV Network in this thread.
