CN Schedule Updates

I can't believe they canceled classic Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry again! As a result, I have not watched anything on that channel for two months now.. :(

Looks like Johnny Test isn't on CN anymore (for now). Gumball replaced it today.

I'll never thought I'll see the day when Johnny Test gets kicked off from CN (and I think this is first time). I'm crying tears of joy.

On the other hand, Gumball now airs more than any other show, I think Regular Show should of got the slot instead.

Wild guess, but I think it's a safe one, that Regular Show will be back regularly (no pun intended) once the new season kicks in, probably the day of, maybe the week prior. Doesn't feel right to not get a warm-up of it before new ones, even if another show airs before it.

LOL Something I predicted literally came true, starting September 29, Adventure Time gets replaced by Total Drama. Adventure Time however will air one last time on October 4 however, yeesh at these scheduling choices though.

EDIT: It's not gone, it's on Saturdays only.

Never thought they bring those shows back, considering the last few months CN has been free of any non-current programming. I'm guessing What's New Scooby-Doo? will return next.

Didn't expect those either. Wonder how that'll do for the morning hours for both shows. Feels like whatever they put there had gotten the minimalist of views throughout the week.

As for WNSD? If CN doesn't keep bringing it back, they may as well cease operations :P

According to NickAndMore's twitter, Ben 10 Omniverse returns with new episodes, October 6, at 6am. Ugh, seems like a burnoff. Of course, I'm sure they won't cancel it if the toys keep selling, but this is disappointing.

6am? What fresh hell is this? CN basically is saying action cartoons can go to where I just said.

Eh, I don't care about Omniverse moving to 6:00 in the morning. I don't even watch Omniverse anymore. That show could disappear from the face of the Earth and I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

By the looks of it, CN and Boomerang have just gone downhill, haven't they?

Ben 10: Omniverse, once a Saturday morning cartoon exclusively on CN, now a weekday morning cartoon! I am not getting up at 6 to watch 5 episodes a week for 5 days and I don't care if Saturday comes off as an opportunity for anybody to sleep in! Maybe I'll just watch it online.

Here's a list of CN's previous grave mistakes!

2007 - After airing the live-action flop "Re-Animated" in 2006, CN decides to make a show based on it called "Out of Jimmy's Head".

2012 - Putting DC Nation on hiatus from October 6th through January 5th, 2013. Not to mention airing all but 2 episodes of Generator Rex.

2013 - Adding "Incredible Crew" to the channel. Thank goodness it's gone.

And here's Boomerang's grave mistake list:

Airing the same Looney Tunes shorts, including the PAL distorted versions of them like "Duck Amuck". And for the record, PAL sound does count as bad quality.

Airing Tom & Jerry thrice on weekends, especially at noon!

Not changing the schedule by putting up shows no one's ever seen in a long time.

If there's no change soon, I'm done with these channels!

Fine by me, Alonso. I still have Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball, Clarence, and Uncle Grandpa to watch. Omniverse is no loss to me.

Yeah I mean I like Omniverse well enough, but I really don't mind this burnoff. I mean, the show managed to get like 80 episodes (of which 50 have aired). That's the most any Ben 10 got. Plus as Gatordragon said, there's tons of other good (and better than Omniverse IMO) shows on CN rn.

I guess it's all ogre for Ben now, I'm glad that this most likely means Ben 10 is done but at the same time, it's kinda sad to see it get burned off but hey, it had 4 series and 100+ episodes. Even then, I'm not that into Omniverse anymore since I began to notice it's flaws, but just be glad they are actually airing the rest of the series.

Come to think of it, Omniverse was never treated that well in the first place, it was instantly added on Boomerang, and even had a marathon there once. Not to mention it aired more repeats on Boomerang than Cartoon Network.

The Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes shorts are back on Cartoon Network.

BTW Omniverse is airing weekdays at 7 am et. at least according to TV Guide.com, so perhaps NickandMore was talking about the central time zone.

Like I said before all I really care about is seeing the "And Than There Was" two parter, learning Spanner's identity, and the remaining Charmcaster episodes. Outside of that, don't really care to much, I will still watch, but you know not as heavily invested.

It is kind of sad how they're treating Omniverse, if only because that was one of their few remaining action series and it's been one of their biggest properties for the past few years. I wasn't expecting them to burn away through the remaining episodes in a weekday morning deathslot. While I enjoyed a good chuck of Omniverse episodes, the last few that aired on the channel weren't that enjoyable if I recall correctly and I was questioning if I'd keep watching it. Even the last Charmcaster episode felt like it was over hyped by all of the anticipation and then someone got on my case for not liking characters with depth because I like Pokemon, which also soured any potential enjoyment I could get from discussions in the talkback thread for awhile.

Still, I'll probably watch the episodes, but only if they're available on Cartoon Network's website and/or put On Demand since I do not like the show enough to get up at 7AM for it. If they just go for a reboot for the next series, then I most likely won't check it out. It would have to have a really good premise or first episode for me to watch another Ben 10 series.

The Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes shorts are back on Cartoon Network.

Yippee! That's good to know! I did kind of have a feeling their removal may have just been for the summer. Now while we're at it, let's hope they put some GOOD Scooby-Doo stuff back on too, like "Where Are You" or even SD:MI.

Other mistakes:
2007- Cartoon Network cancels Fridays, two to three weeks after Snyder is announced as the new president.
2008- Canceling Toonami on Saturday Nights because he did not like anime shows.
2011- Canceling the You Are Here Action Block, despite good ratings for a Friday night.

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
