CN Schedule Updates

There is nothing that can be done about the schedule, everyone here understands that complaining won't make anything better we must see the positives that are at least provided. Of course everyone wants to help the ratings increase but the network itself really isn't doing any favors, and because of that it is just best to accommodate the new direction that it is likely heading.

Accommodate the new direction it is heading? What down the drain? As I said before being content with what's going on is not going to help them either but ok whatever you guys say

Well to hold off on the rant, here's some changes next week.

• Regular Show returns to the 7AM hour next week and will continue where reruns left off a week ago, and will also air Saturday and Sunday at 3:30PM, with "The Christmas Special" and "Christmas in Space" respectively.
• Unikitty is airing a rerun on December 3rd at 7:30PM (which is just adding more to the fact that the show has already premiered.)
• Clarence is back at 9AM.
• Other than that the schedule is pretty much the same as it was last week.

In terms of the Scooby-Doo! movies, I'm not sure if I should find this interesting or not that some of them playing/played have been no longer part of the Boomerang Theater rotation as they now just cycle through a smaller selection (and I assume because of the app), so [slightly] good that despite the overplay of them they're still being broadcast on tv.

Weird to see a lack of WBB on there, but there's a chance it gets another daily go in January. Just hope it doesn't become another one of the newer shows that suddenly we only occasionally see for premiers and then have a spurt of reruns before removal again. At least Gumball has a decently fair amount of showings, and happy that Regular Show will continue after it looked like it was a week-only thing - which is weird because they had the following week's schedule +/- set in stone without RS appearing there and before RS returned regularly. In terms of the Christmas episodes that weekend, this being just a small trivial thing, but I like they're doing just one half hour both days. There's a chance the other Christmas episodes play, but where I'm getting at is by not doing an hour one day, we'll have the show on for at least 7 consecutive days. Can't recall the last time that happened.

By the opinions I've seen around, I think most aren't upset by that. Personally I'm not. I've seen it 2-3x maybe but couldn't honestly enjoy it. If anything we'll get blotches of stuff near that time but I'd agree that not a lot of anything. I could about expect them to play the same movies we saw for this last week or other previously played movies plus possibly a marathon or more of TTG somewhere. We already have a fair start this next weekend so who knows what they could do randomly. They did play Billy & Mandy around Halloween for a huge surprise so we just have to wait and hope for something eye-catching.

Here’s the Cartoon Network schedule for Monday, November 27 to Sunday, December 3.

Back to normal! Yeah, there’s still a bit too much TTG in the middle but the weekday lineup isn’t too bad.

This week’s Friday lineup is an (advertised) hour of Teen Titans Go! reruns, yet another Unikitty! sneak peek, and a new holiday We Bare Bears. Disappointing, in comparison to last year’s Christmas premiere block.

But we do get some Christmas specials this weekend. Ben 10 Classic pops up again to air the only Christmas episode in the entire franchise, Gumball and Regular Show specials air on Saturday, and there’s a blank 30-minute timeslot at 2:00pm. My guess is that it’s the original How the Grinch Stole Christmas, since TBS still has the rights to that. You may be wondering, where is the Christmas classic Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer? Freeform got the cable rights, sadly. Disney has a Christmas programming monopoly, wish the Justice Department would split them up.
Sunday has An Elf’s Story: The Elf on the Shelf at 6:30am, which is a very appropriate timeslot for that boring crap. Gumball, We Bare Bears, Regular Show, and Unikitty specials rerun that day. There’s also a new Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Christmas two-parter and two new The Powerpuff Girls. Yippee.

Looks like OK K.O. has entered its very first hiatus.

Here’s what’s new new new new this week:

• Unikitty! - SNEAK PEEK #3 - Friday at 7:00p
• We Bare Bears - CHRISTMAS EPISODE - Friday at 7:30p
• Justice League Action - Saturday at 7:00a

I agree it would've been better to do a Stevenbomb in this case, but at the very least the fact they're airing two at a time means it's not dripping as slowly as it could be.

Maybe they'll just use these as a means to advertise January's special event or something.

Maybe Generator Rex, but not Scan2Go. It was dubbed by Cookie Jar Entertainment which is now under DHX Media, and CN US no longer has the rights to it.

Also, is there a 100% real reason why Cartoon Networks scheduling is bad? I'm sure if they tried better, they could use this schedule in 2018 (Don't complain about the 8:30am timeslot on Sunday in my schedule, if you don't like those shows, then just sleep in or something)

As much as we all agree the schedule SHOULD be improved, that's definitely not the right way to go about it. Mostly because it's so dang confusing.
