From one of my favorite websites, TV Shows on DVD, here is some great news:

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3697

Reader Alex Keeling sent us some information regarding a Clone High release coming this September, but only in Canada. Nelvana announced that they had licensed a number of their animated properties to Canadian distributor kaBOOM!, including Clone High. The series aired on YTV in Canada, and MTV in the US.

Human Cloning: Dangerous. Amoral. Hilarious. Rumors of a so-called "Clone High, U.S.A." began sixteen years ago, when a renegade band of scientists allegedly dug up history's most celebrated personalities, extracted their DNA, and cloned them. Now these historical figures are teenagers, and are being secretly monitored as they attend high school in a secret planned community. which begs the questions: if it's so secret, how do we know about it? The answer to this question, and any other question that has ever haunted you will be answered. Answered with laughter. Clone High is a secret never to be divulged to anyone.

The set will contain all 13 episodes of the series (286 mins), along with some bonus material (still working on finalizing it). Audio will be in English and French, and the set will sell for $29.95 CAN. Here's a list of the episodes:

Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand
Election Blu-Galoo
A.D.D.: The Last D is for Disorder
Film Fest: Tears of a Clone
Sleep of Faith: La Rue D'Awakening
Homecoming: A Shot in the D'Arc
Plane Crazy: Gate Expectations
Raisin the Stakes: A Rock Opera in 3 Acts
A Room of One's Clone: The Pie of the Storm
Litter Kills: Litterally
Snowflake Day: A Very Special Clone High Holiday Special
Makeover, Makeover, Makeover: The Makeover Episode
Changes: You Got a Prom With That?

Alex wasn't able to provide us with the exact release date, so we'll keep our eyes open and report back if we hear anything. While these plans are for a Canadian release, it's likely the set would find a US distributor, though probably at a later date.

Nice. Even though it's only in Canada, I'll probably find a way to import it. Plus it's Region 1, so I'll be able to play it on my DVD player.

I was actually told about this one a month ago, but I just thought I'd wait for an official announcement. :)

Start your importing, folks, because there's a good chance that this one will never get a proper DVD release south of the border.

Some of my grocers sell kaBOOM! merchandise (but, then again, it's not too new what they offer), so maybe they'll sell this (hopefully).

Let me be the one to notify the Internet...

Go to http://www.kaboom-ent.com/NEWRELEASES.html and download the September 2005 new releases pdf file.

There, you'll be find out that the Clone High DVD contains both English and French tracks.

I feel so happy right now!

EDIT: Here's the image.

It releases on September 20th, as evidenced by the image.

I'd like to be credited as the person who discovered this. :D
No offense, but I beat you to it at 9:04am ;) Still, great news... just hope the major online retailers in Canada carry it.

I noticed that you did.

Well, at least I'm not the only one who knows about kaBOOM's website (I've been frequenting it since March).

Bwhahaha!! Suckers!! :p

And stay away from our maple syrup. Want some?? Drag yer behinds up here to get some. :D

Is "Clone High" a hit in the US? Just curious.

Any chance it'll come to the US, I've sure seen other less popular shows come out before (Dilbert, Butt Ugly Martians)

It could. Just depends where in the United States you live, and if your retailer (in my case, grocery stores [for kaBOOM! DVDs]) wants to carry it.

You canadians with your beady little eyes, you flappin heads so full of lies;)

Clone High was kinda a bomb ratings-wise, but it has a cult fanbase, not a huge Family Guy size one, but it is a respectable cult favorite.

Canadian DVD's are Region 1, right?

The US and Canada are in the same region, right? I guess I'll just have to take a little road trip to British Columbia this fall. ;)

Canada and the United States are Region 1. I mean, yes.

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!

That's not a longtime that i tought to rerurn this show. :)

Clone High got cancelled here due to people protesting the portrayal of Ghandi (the potesters apparently don't understand the concepts of "irony" or "humor".) it never got a full run, it got cancelled after the basketball episode.

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
