Clifford The Big Red Dog 2027 Reboot

Another Clifford? You gotta be kidding me. Better hope they mix the 2000 and 2019 versions.

"PBS KIDS announced today the production of a new Clifford the Big Red Dog series, based on the Scholastic book series by Norman Bridwell. The series is inspired by the importance of community and will introduce important foundational social skills, including understanding how to engage in social problem solving, joining groups, making friends, and including others, as well as modeling how even young children can play a contributing role in their communities. The reimagined buddy comedy centers on Emily Elizabeth, a kid with big hearted ideas, and her big best friend, Clifford, who turns small problems into oversized adventures.

The series will be produced at 9 Story Media Group (Super Why’s Comic Book Adventures, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood) and animated at their sister company, Brown Bag Films, and is set to premiere on PBS KIDS in 2027. This will be PBS KIDS’ fourth Clifford series, following the 2000 series of the same name, its spin-off, 2003’s Clifford’s Puppy Days, and the 2019 series also of the same name (and also produced/animated at 9 Story and Brown Bag)."

And it will be the fifth animated adaptation overall if you count the six 1988 Family Home Entertainment / Nelvana videos.

I'm surprised to see Clifford getting rebooted again cause the last reboot was not too long ago

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
