"Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc Holds NYCC Panel, Reveals Opening Sequence"

"With Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle having broken all sales records, we imagine Sony must be feeling good about the chances for their next big anime film, Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc. Picking up where the lone season of the Chainsaw Man series left off in 2022, it arrives next week in US theaters.

In Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc devil hunter Denji, who literally became a Chainsaw Man after merging with his pet devil Pochita, has finally convinced his boss Makima to go out on a date with him. Enthused about the possibility of lightening up his grim life, he’s blindsided by running into Reze — a different girl he barely knows, but develops a fast infatuation for. Now Denji doesn’t know which one to pick, and he’s torn between two loves.

There’s a bigger issue, though…this is not a spoiler because it’s in all the promos, but Reze is a Devil in disguise with the power to blow things up. The real reason she’s latched onto Denji is to lure him to her side. Will temptation get the better of him or will Makima keep him on the correct path?"

I'm assuming they're not going to pull a Demon Slayer and make the Reze Arc part of the anime series.
12/21/25: I don't know if they can pull off International Assassins Arc for one cour but we'll see. I think this will be like the recent season of Blue Exorcist where each of the two cours had its own name from the arcs they adapt (Beyond the Snow, Blue Night) and for Chainsaw the end of this cour/cour 2 will be the next arc which is a big one.

1/18/26: A rumor popped up that the Assassins Arc will air in 2027 but take with salt.

6/19: New Assassins Arc teaser played at MAPPA 15th anniversary livestream.

"Chainsaw Man Anime Continues With Assassins Arc…But What Form Will It Take?"

"Studio MAPPA’s Chainsaw Man made the leap from television to film with its most recent adaption, Reze Arc. The film opened with $8.46 million in Japan and $17.25 million in the US…which isn’t quite Demon Slayer numbers, but enough to worry if, like that series, Chainsaw Man could choose to leave TV permanently.

The next arc to be adapted has been revealed: Assassins Arc, covering chapters 53-70. MAPPA put out a short teaser consisting of a series of completed shots with no dialogue set to a techno beat. What you need to know is that the events of Reze Arc caused so much commotion that the existence of Chainsaw Man has been revealed to the world, and now the world’s top assassins are converging in Japan to target Denji. It’s never easy being this guy.

But the real question is…are we looking at TV clips, or movie clips? MAPPA won’t say. The only possible lead we have is that their website does not specifically label Assassins Arc as a feature film like they did with Reze Arc. That could mean a return to TV, or it could just mean they didn’t bother with a label."

Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
