At least Hearst Networks has something real nice in their hands, Cosmo (my beloved) in Spain and Blaze (in UK, but my hope is that the Italian one respawns). The less Paramount has in its plate, the better is. (Also, yeah, I wish the merger dies and what not).I think the resolution to this issue is for Paramount Skydance to divest itself from the international side of Cartoon Network after the merger, and setup a two-way IP and trademark licencing agreement, a similar sort of thing happened with A+E Networks in Europe (now Hearst Networks EMEA), when Disney had to sell up and it became a partnership only between Hearst and Sky. Sky could actually end up owning 50% of CN in Europe, that would be a weird scenario! Ideally, I would prefer no merger at all.
Yeah, the first thing that came to mind was Hearst a couple years agoI think the resolution to this issue is for Paramount Skydance to divest itself from the international side of Cartoon Network after the merger, and setup a two-way IP and trademark licencing agreement, a similar sort of thing happened with A+E Networks in Europe (now Hearst Networks EMEA), when Disney had to sell up and it became a partnership only between Hearst and Sky. Why CN and not Nick, tho? Nick doesn't even have any productions approved for the next 2-3 years. Thanks to Skydance.I think the resolution to this issue is for Paramount Skydance to divest itself from the international side of Cartoon Network after the merger, and setup a two-way IP and trademark licencing agreement, a similar sort of thing happened with A+E Networks in Europe (now Hearst Networks EMEA), when Disney had to sell up and it became a partnership only between Hearst and Sky. Well, they obviously care more about Nickelodeon, which has been their brandWhy CN and not Nick, tho? Nick doesn't even have any productions approved for the next 2-3 years. Thanks to Skydance.
Or the independent WB/Discovery split, as it was initially planned.Ideally, I would prefer no merger at all.
I'm getting off topic a bit (but not completely, I'll come back to it eventually), but I don't see Skydance doing a single positive thing for Nick, let alone OBVIOUSLY. Almost everything has been canceled, Nick has only one active cartoon that won't end anytime soon (Sponge Bob), even Henry Danger didn't survive. Even with the live action show, it can't be argued that this is their new goal. They have two. And will Hollywood Arts get a S02, let alone S03? Not to mention the fiasco with Avatar Studios.Well, they obviously care more about Nickelodeon, which has been their brand
Okay what did i read ?

Nick for me is extremely boring.
