C&C - Wolf's Rain - "Don't Make Me Blue" [7/10]

Synopsis =o

If anyone cares or wants to know what it's about the Synopsis:

7/10: Don't Make Me Blue -
With Cheza taken the wounded wolves try to recover. When they spot several men chasing after a female wolf they instantly rush to her defense. But who is this new wolf?

And Landstander, isn't that the wrong title for the episode? .. AS.com says Don't Make me blue.. as does the guide on my satelite..

Yeah...

^^^^^ My bad, going by a wrong schedule. Fixed.

Randi, stop doing the "FIRST POST" bit...please.

Suprising episode so far... very enoyable. :D

Another pretty cool eppy, things seem to be moving along quite fine and a new female wolf is with the gang now.But I gotta ask, why does CN show the Episode title at the end of the eppy??????????Makes no sense to me.

Sorry. What about my feelings. I have to write everything I just did now. Nailed to a wall ouch. Arg hit the flower lady just because she was singing. Hitting his head to a wall,a lot of pain in the beginning of this. Blue has the same eyes as Kiva. Now I forgot the rest.

Heh"Let him go his tail wags when ever there is a girl around."

"Everytime I'm around a girl I have to take a leak just like I have to know." Lol.

Blue....is half-wolf...and a sexy female....DAMMMMNNNNNN.:D And of course, Hige has to try to get his mack on. That amused me ever so much.

Wow...Darcia is one insane dude...I cringed so badly when I saw the blood on that post....ugh. And that crucifixation of his assitant.....man. Toonami my ass...

I like Blue already and with here being half-wolf and a lil closer to humans, I think she'll an interesting dynamic to the group in general.

The detective and the hunter getting drunk was a fun scene. I really hope he finds her. :)

Awesome episode. I didn't really follow what Lord Darsha was saying, maybe I got bored and zoned out, anyone care to explain? Aslo, how did that blonde chick get off of the ship at the end? I know she got out of her shackles somehow, but how'd she get out of a flying ship?

Why is it that the wolf with white hair has black hair in his human form and the wolf with black hair has white hair in his human form?

I really don't see why so many people compare this series to Witch Hunter Robin. I mean, Witch Hunter Robin had horrible character designs, a repulsively repetitive soundtrack, an unoriginal story, boring characters, and piss poor direction. I really don't see why Wolf's Rain continuously gets lumped in with it. Wolf's Rain seems like an interesting, high quality show.

Because... that's where it was originally?

Anyway, woo, yeah, Darcia. Switch to decaf, man. You're gonna hurt yourself one of these days. And I mean more than that.

I find it funny that Quent has never referred to Blue as "she" until this episode. Although, I guess it makes sense, since Blue's reappearance and gender were supposed to be a surprise (and Japanese pronouns have no gender).

This was one solid episode 5 out of 5. Now we are starting to see some Cowboy Bebop style and quality in character developement. :D

And you have to feel sorry for Darcia. That is the first time that a MALE scream sent chills down my spine in the same way a woman's scream does.

Finally we get to another side of Blue and the wolves now know why Quent is hunting them.

I'll be frank here. I'd like to see every non-human character on this show die a horrible death.

My apathy/hatred towards the main characters are approaching Gundam Wing type levels here.

Even Blue?

Darcia went insane, got to see human Blue for the first time and seeing a lady nailed to a wall like a cross good times.

Now that she's no longer with Quent, yes.

The jury's still out on Darcia, until I can figure out if he's truly human or not.

Good episode. First one I didn't find dull or unentertaining.

Intriguing episode. Lord Darcia's assistant being hanged to the wall with stakes, Lord Darcia's scream of anguish and violent display of anger at himself, seeing Blue for the first time in human form, Hige taking an immediate liking to her, Hige saying he feels like taking a leak whenever her meets a girl, Hubb and Quent getting plastered, seeing the reason for Quent's hate for wolves. Good times.

Darcia screaming at the top of his lungs reminds me of something I saw before.....but I can't remember:shrug: . Yikes, he really went nuts when she died. We meet Blue in human form and Hige is all over her immediately, a "boing" sound came to mind when I saw Hige's face seeing her the first time:D . Also see a bit of her lfe growing up and more of the hunter's reason to hate wolves (although that one scene was shown earlier, it was more understandable here). The ex husband bumps into the hunter and gets drunk with him also, heh.

I'm starting to blabber on, so, I give Don't Make Me Blue an A-. I'm kinda reluctant to give an episode of WR a higher grade then that, so far.

What an episode. I liked it especially the beginning. I felt sorry for Darcia and the detective. I might even like Darcia. As for Blue, when I found out she was the girl wolf I gasped louder than I ever had in my life. I didn't even expect this. Good episode. A+

Well good episode Blue in human form was cool. Man Darcia insane too the max. I would never hit my head on a wall until it bleeds. For the most part we get to see more into why Quent is after the wolves. Funny scene at the bar with the detective and Quent. I give it a 9/10

Thats the way the episode is actually set up, with the title typically at the very end. Seems to be a BONES trademark, they did it with a few episodes of RahXephon too.

Anyway, this was another really good episode, perhaps the best yet. Blue finally shows her human appearance (although it was no surprise to me since I saw this episode last year on fansubs) and joins our heroes, hopefully she'll stick around. Darcia goes nuts and we get some good development for Quent, showing some of his past before the wolves burned his house down and killed his family

Because a few select people watched the first few episode, which even a hardcore WR fan like me will admit are a tad too slow, and then assume the entire series is that way when it clearly hasn't been. Of course they don't realize that because they stopped watching months ago, yet won't stop flaming the show to death.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
