Now... am I to presume that guy Tsume pinned down felt a wolf's paws on his chest and teeth against his neck, but just didn't notice?

Does anything really happen in this show?

I used to feel so good about so many premieres on Saturday night. Now I'm considering avoiding it altogether. Why is Adult Swim only interested in slow, talky anime? Or Williams Street in general, for that matter?

In general I just find this show weird. It's better looking than Witch Hunter Robin but it's directed exactly the same and the voice acting is just as boring.

So, they're in Russia?

Just noticing the text on Hub's computer

If it's anything like Witch Hunter Robin, it'll pick up in two months.

Because they think it makes them look smarter. Let's face it, if they aired "Fist of the North Star" or something along those lines, people would accuse Adult Swim of sleazy violence.

You think so? I think it at least has a central directive, unlike Robin's endless filler.

I don't get the dislike...seriously.It only keeps getting better.I like(d) this episode.

Yeah. Something did actually happen this week, they left the town.

Great Episode. I can't wait to see more. This has been a really nice addition to ASA.

Great episode. Kiba, Tsume, and the rest of them begin their journey to Paradise where things are going to begin.

This week gets an A. I really enjoyed this ep.

I don't recall it ever picking up. :/

eh

Eh, I agree this episode was pretty meh (really, they could've done the "leaving town" thing in like...3 minutes), but I have hope it'll pick up. Whereas with WHR I pretty much stopped caring at episode 4 or so.

The series still remains at "Not great but not that bad" for me. =|

I like. Was good. Toboe did sound kinda annoying. That's just the VA though, not the character. Almost forgot to watch.

"Wolf's Rain." Verily, the most well-animated sleep aid known to man.

After the minor improvement last week, the plot gets going in spite of WR's solution to all exposition--halting, meandering, conversation. This week a whole bunch of stand-alone plots and third-string characters get touched on and then, as if someone looked at the clock and saw they had only a few minutes left, they get the Wolves together in as hastily contrived a way as possible.

I wanted to like this show a lot more than I did but it's just. . .so. . .empty. It's like they started writing the script last of all instead of (one hopes) first.

How can a show with this level of quality behind it be so meandering and directionless? I was sorta hoping the Cheza abduction meant "yes, finally, they're gonna get the lead out and this will all gel together into something that points the way towards a direction for this series. Finally, we're gonna quit wasting time."

Nahh. Instead, they obliquely mutter about it for awhile and finally get going in the last few minutes, and in the middle more elliptic conversation and pretty-boy posing?

There HAD to be a better, more logical way to get Kiba and Hige together with Toboe and Tsume, but wasting 3/4 of the runtime and then letting them conveniently find each other within 3 minutes was uhhh. . .lazy.

And while they remembered the action quotient near the end (in that running counts as action) it wasn't enough. Waiting around for this show to get its lazy ass in gear is not for me. "Wolf's Rain" is all style, no substance, all filler and no killer.

There's a good reason why the ratings are "un-acceptable"--This dog doesn't hunt. F

I was wishing there was more of Cheza. She seems like an interesting character. It's cool how everyone is connected to her. That's what makes her so interesting to me.

I feel like I'm watching a completely different show than most everyone else, here...

Is it just me, or do most people here seem to follow the "if it doesn't meet my expectations, it must obviously suck" line of thinking?

you guys are weird... Its hardly a crappy show. Even Inuyasha doesnt get the crappy reviews that people here are giving WR, and IY is ALL filler.

Let me state this clearly since I've seen the whole series. If you dont like these first 3 eps, dont bother watching the rest. There will be filler episodes that aren't central to the plot except that they are journeying toward paradise. I LIKED those episodes. And all of the other ones. However, if you havent liked the first 3 eps, then just stop watching. You wont like any of the rest.

Doink

*throws hands up in despair whilst looking duodimensionally upward*

I've decided I'm not going to bother having opinions any more.

I give "Bad Fellow" a banana out of Navarre for having a cool title.

(shouting from the back of the auditorium)

BOOOOOOOOO-RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

Oh this isn't good, this isn't good at all...

The 1 week an episode thing is going to kill the series...

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
