C&C - Trinity Blood - "Witch Hunt" [9/15]

What's with the movie reference that has nothing to do with the episode?

Sabat as an android or robot, whichever he was being, can be quiet scary. He did a good job sounding monotonous, but man was he ruthless. The Vampire Father though truly showed that he cares for all living creatures, which is ironic since he's a vampire. The first episode hooked me to the series, but I honestly did not think this was a good follow-up except for the introduction of the rest of the team.

He's looking up episode titles on IMDB and seeing if there are movies with the same title or similar title.

Also, it's a joke.

Now these are the kind of episodes that get me hooked on series. Why? because of the characterization and emotional levels this show can have. Now, all we need is a good plot. The little girl storyline was awesome, it was pretty depressing to, but what an incredible power, it's like a double-edged sword.

One thing I dont like...

Whenever he is in a jam, he just activates his powers, kinda cheezy in a way but it makes sense.

This show doesn't seem to understand what its trying to be. And the characters speak too quietly often...

Stuff was happening on the screen and I didn't care. That's a bad sign.

He said in the first episode he wasn't a vampire or a human but something more.

I like the part where they rip off Equilibrium.

looked in ANN's index for it and got nada, so it wasn`t an anime. what is equilibrium?

Was I the only one who thought the pilot from the first episode was going to be a main character? I guess I was wrong. I guess I shouldn't expect this girl to be back next episode either...

So, that vampire was walking outside in daylight. I've noticed vampires in Hellsing doing the same thing. Do Japanese vampires just not have a weakness to sunlight?

Low budget yet absolutely kickass movie with lots of gun-fu.

By the way, this show- horrificially bad. Hellsing Ultimate, simply by the first episode, is set to run this thing over in quality.

Hmm, seems to be following a "monster/problem of the week" format so far. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as long as they do it well. I really got a kick out of the scene when the android was pointing his gun at the two in the end, because I was jokingly thinking "don't tell me this robot ends up having a heart of gold and won't shoot", and at that moment, he pretended he had no ammo. Would've been hilarious if he proved me wrong and actually shot them.

Not as good as last weeks

Yeah pretty much. a 2 parter is next so hopefully it will get into more of a plot.

Still not seeing how this is worse than WHR or WR. it's neither convoluted nor got a depressed main charachter nor redicuoulsy monotonous/boring nor failing to explain its premise and world around it so people aren`t totally lost.(things both those shows did)

It may not be perfect, but at the very least, it is watchable.

I actually really liked this episode, I was suprised that the first episode had nothing at all to do with the second episode. Next week the actual plot starts a bit I guess. Anyway Tres is awesome :D

Boo

I missed the first episode which everyone seemed to like, so whoops I guess.

But this was silly. It jumped between moods without any kind of flow (cutesythrillingBATTLEcutesyTENSIONcomedicreliefEXPOSITION), the dialogue was...yeah, even the music cues felt way overdone. And I can't get on-board with the whole Trigun vibe because I never liked Trigun.

I suppose I'll give it another shot or two because hey why not

You know what will make it more watchable? E Nomine. Seriously; it fits like a glove. :D

Hmm, I wonder if the fact that I liked WHR has to do with the fact that I'm liking Trinity Blood so far...

I was expecting the girl from the last episode to at least be in this episode, but that was not to be. Sabat android was pretty much awesome. Loved how he pretended he had no ammo at the end, only to shoot the drained vampire (which, btw, was disgusting). I got something of a morbid laugh at the girl running to hug Abel when he had blood splattered on his face. It was a nice moment, but the blood on his face just made me laugh.

Considering how this episode had nothing to do with the first one, I'm definitely looking forward to getting a plot line going soon.

4.5/5

I think it's a pretty cool series, from what I've seen so far. Abel is a likeable enough main character (in a Vash kind of way from Trigun, of course), and I do like how he's able to switch from being a humble, bumbling man of God to a ruthless Kresnik who shows Vampires no mercy.

I do think that it's a series that builds gradually into its main storyline, but once it does, it takes off...

Plus he seem to have nanomachines in his body, since he used them to activate his power. I was bit surprised by an android being in this show. I thought it was gonna be human vs vampires kind of show. Anyway I enjoy the episode.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
