Joseph is Jonathan’s grandson, and while he looks like his grandfather, the similarities stop there. Joseph is a trickster, far less honorable and constantly scheming ways to humiliate his opponents. But it’s this scheming nature where his intelligence shines through, as he is usually able to predict his opponent’s moves and nature just by observing them.
Robert E.O. Speedwagon

Following Jonathan’s death, Speedwagon set out west for America and struck it rich in the oil industry. With his newfound wealth, he built the Speedwagon Foundation, an organization which secretly investigates the paranormal and is dedicated towards assisting the Joestar family in whatever way possible.
Sanviento (Santana)

An ancient being who slept within a stone slab for over a thousand years, he was awoken by Stroheim’s scientists with the hopes of weaponizing him. Named by Stroheim, Sanviento is from the race that created the Stone Masks, and possesses abilities more powerful than that of a vampire. Thanks to Joseph, as well as the sacrifice of Stroheim, Santana has been placed in a state of suspended animation.

Last time
Sanviento proved to be a dangerous foe, even against Joseph’s Hamon abilities, due to his advanced intelligence and quick learning. With help from Stroheim, Joseph was able to lure Sanviento outside into the sunlight, but the ancient being tried to evade this weakness by attempting to possess Stroheim. However, Stroheim made the ultimate sacrifice by using a stielhandgranate to blow himself up and drive out the Pillar Man. Sanviento was at last defeated when Joseph drove him to a nearby well, where the reflection of the high noon sun caught Sanviento off-guard, trapping him in a stone-like state.
However, with his last words, Stroheim warned Joseph that Sanviento is not the only one of his kind to survive to the present day...
