Anyone getting Slam Dunk! on the 15th?

Are there any fans of the sub here that want to see what Geneon has done with it? I can't even begin to imagine what studio they used for their voices but has thinking that maybe Christopher Sabat could play Hanamichi since Hanamichi resembles Kuwabara, .

Anyone got any news on it, how come it is getting the silent treatment from Geneon (it doesn't appear on their website at all...)??

Thanks for the input fellas, I thought that Slam Dunk would not be as popular as other stuff on this board, but it's cool. It's not a bad way to kill a couple of hours (because once you start watching them play you are inclined to make yourself see the match to the end as opposed to holding off and watching one episode per day or whatever...

I wouldn't look forward to the subs at all due to the recent fiasco with Air Master. It's not on Geneon's website because they only distribute the series, Toei is the one who is actually doing the series.

If someone does indeed get a hold of one at a local retailer or buy it please let us know if it was horribly mutated into dubtitled garbage.

I really like this series and hope that it does really well but the way things are looking Toei is probably just might stop making it here in the States...
