THE UNKNOWN!
See title. What logic did MTV give for cancelling it again and replacing it with thirty WONDERFUL minutes of Ashton Freakin' Kutcher?

Low ratings, I'd say. Like every other animated series on MTV in history. No matter how good a show is, if it doesn't make money, it gets canned quick.

I thought there was some type of controversy too.. I'm not too sure. I did like the show though, and wish it was still on.

Clone High was good, I also heard that VH1 Ill'ustrated is coming back. That piece of **** gets renewed for a new season & Clone High lasted a few episodes.

I think the controversy was the way Ghandi was portraid(sp?). Anyway that show ruled! It had a huge following.

Because Clone High isn't fooling around with Demi Moore? :p

Mmm, yeah, I miss it too.

Ever since the end of B&B, it's become MTV tradition to cancel shows after one season, or half of one. Just so you know, Clone High was from Canada and it had a full season there, but nothing more than 13 shows.

Ghandi made a bunch of groups throw a hissy fit...so MTV canned it (without airing the other produced episodes.)

The whole series aired in Canada. It ended on an impossibly unresolvable cliff hanger (a la Duckman) which implies that Nelvana probably never intended to make more than 13 episodes.

Hopefully a DVD release...

What about Daria. IIRC, Daria lasted at least six seasons and ended with the movie "Is It College Yet?"

Daria was a spin off of B&B. We meant new cartoons are usually cancelled after one season.

One of the finest, laugh-your-butt-off shows I've ever seen. "Clone High" is a terrific piece of animation that more than deserves a DVD release.

"We could eat at the Olive Garden. It's like eating in the private kitchen of a delightful Italian stereotype!"

The show is gone, but (thankfully) not forgotten: www.clonehighusa.com

It just goes to show you that Canada doesn't give a crap about what any activists or groups complain abooot(j/k).

Oh! I forgot about that show! I thought it rocked!

 I miss it. . .

In '94, I believe, the Power Rangers was banned from Canadian tv due to ONE letter from a mad mother claiming that the show was too 'violent'.

Yeah, but notice how it's back on the air now. Also I believe you were still able to see it if you recieved a Fox Affiliate via Cable.

But still, it's probably the only cartoon series besides its parent show (Beavis and Butthead) and maybe Sifl and Olly (though that was a low-budget sock puppet show) that went on for more than one season.

How long did Liquid Television and Cartoon Sushi go on? And Aeon Flux?

I loved Clone High when it was on MTV. it gave me an actual reason to watch MTV, since everything besides Tom Green and The Big Urban Myth Show was pitiful. The last episode of CH I saw was the one where Scudworth was chasing after that skunk that said "Try and catch me, B****!" all the time.

"That sounds like the pizzicato tiptoeing of a pesky skunk. UNACCEPTABLE!!"

The one real thing that irritates me to this day is that Canadian viewers got the whole season of it. That makes 3 shows that i like that Canada got more episodes of (The other two being Totally Spies ans Braceface, but that's because they were made for them to an extent).

You could download the rest of the episodes on [CENSORED BECAUSE I AM A HEATHEN SINNER]. That's what my friends did.

Ah, I remember when I used to say things like that on Toonzone. I soon learned that was a foolish, foolish thing to do, (read: edit your post.)
