AUGH!
See title. What logic did MTV give for cancelling it again and replacing it with thirty WONDERFUL minutes of Ashton Freakin' Kutcher?
I think the controversy was the way Ghandi was portraid(sp?). Anyway that show ruled! It had a huge following.KinG of PaQ said:I thought there was some type of controversy too.. I'm not too sure. I did like the show though, and wish it was still on.![]()
Because Clone High isn't fooling around with Demi Moore?EddieTheEditor said:See title. What logic did MTV give for cancelling it again and replacing it with thirty WONDERFUL minutes of Ashton Freakin' Kutcher?
What about Daria. IIRC, Daria lasted at least six seasons and ended with the movie "Is It College Yet?"Martianinvader said:Ever since the end of B&B, it's become MTV tradition to cancel shows after one season, or half of one.
Daria was a spin off of B&B. We meant new cartoons are usually cancelled after one season.candy17 said:What about Daria. IIRC, Daria lasted at least six seasons and ended with the movie "Is It College Yet?"
It just goes to show you that Canada doesn't give a crap about what any activists or groups complain abooot(j/k).Pepperidge said:The whole series aired in Canada. It ended on an impossibly unresolvable cliff hanger (a la Duckman) which implies that Nelvana probably never intended to make more than 13 episodes.
Hopefully a DVD release...
I miss it. . .In '94, I believe, the Power Rangers was banned from Canadian tv due to ONE letter from a mad mother claiming that the show was too 'violent'.Kyl416 said:It just goes to show you that Canada doesn't give a crap about what any activists or groups complain abooot(j/k).
Yeah, but notice how it's back on the air now. Also I believe you were still able to see it if you recieved a Fox Affiliate via Cable.Batgirl Beyond said:In '94, I believe, the Power Rangers was banned from Canadian tv due to ONE letter from a mad mother claiming that the show was too 'violent'.
But still, it's probably the only cartoon series besides its parent show (Beavis and Butthead) and maybe Sifl and Olly (though that was a low-budget sock puppet show) that went on for more than one season.Kyl416 said:Daria was a spin off of B&B.
Ah, I remember when I used to say things like that on Toonzone. I soon learned that was a foolish, foolish thing to do, (read: edit your post.)Heathen Sinner said:You could download the rest of the episodes off Satan's backhairs. That's what my friends did.
