[font=arial,helvetica][size=-1]So far, American Dad has been better than the new season of Family Guy, according to the popular opinion. Will it continue?

Boy, Stan is being a jackass.

Uhhhh. . .yeah. That's the idea.

Anyway, Stan's extremeness is gold. I wonder how many people out there actually take him seriously.

Ok......That was diffrent.

cia agents thinkin they r terrorists, golden turd, gay jr rangers, suspicious neighbors...so tru, too tru....good ep.

The first act sucked but things really picked up as the episode went on and it became as great as the last two episodes. I also hope that the Pedro-esque scene with the guy finding the gold poop is continued and becomes a running gag, it was great.

Voted Blue because its my least favorite episode of the season - though overall Im a fan.

"So Laura... you had an abortion in college?"

Oh and the Gold Turd was a nice parody of oh so many terrible films.

Now, I'm the kind of person who honestly enjoys racial/stereotypical humor, but this episode didn't make me crack one smile.

This was a great episode IMO. The profiling of the Iranians, the Boy Scout experience, the E.T. parody, and the golden turd were all awesome. This show keeps rolling along.

Pretty bad. Stan is still a ****. Roger is still funny however but that's about it.

I didn't get the golden turd. I imagine that's a pastiche of bad movies right? **.

Well Stan's exaggerated racial profiling was expected, but it was unexpectedly humorous. Yet the side story with the electricians finding the golden poop was by far the greatest thing they’ve done on the show so far. Here’s hoping for some continuity with that.

This is the most extreme Stan has ever been, and yet it wasn't annoying like it used to be. The subplot with Steve and Roger was priceless (those two are turing out to be a great comedic duo, like Peter and Brian), and I liked Francene trying to make her family look presentable to the neighboorhood and Stan completely messing it up (I like how she made the "prison" into a theme party). Oh, and the "Golden Turd"? Priceless. I really hope they do continue it, as it was funny and a nice touch to the show. Tonight's American Dad topped tonight's Family Guy (again).

5/5

A fine episode of AD. While Stan is a jerk in this ep, he has some good moments; the "Dean Scream", the picture of him and Francine in the shed, and when he closes the car door on his hand. The movie parody with the golden t*rd seemed quite out of place, though.

Slightly better than tonight's FG ep.

People are liking this better than Family Guy?...ok. To each their own.

Not bad, I thought it was pretty funny. Though personallyI thought the golden poop deal was awful. I usually like that kind of humor, but that segment took me right out of the show.

Yeah, I didn't get the golden turd scene either. I was waiting like, 5 minutes for the freakin punch line and it never came.

HAHA! Controversy! Stan hates the neighbors for the simple reason that they're Arabic and goes to ridiculous lengths to interrogate and imprison them. The "All in the Family" similarities really came through in this episode, and I loved it. Especially good was the dead-on parody of suspense thrillers (complete in widescreen!), right down to the dialog and excellent music.

The subplot with the Boy Scouts wasn't as strong, but then again, it melded in with the main plot nicely when the gazebo caught on fire. And it allowed for Roger to leave the house. Then again, I saw the E.T. parody coming a mile away.

Funniest moments:
-Stan armed to the teeth before the barbeque.
-Stan revealing the abortion from the woman's past.
-Roger feeling jealous of the fictitious alien in the video game.
-Circling the block to avoid talking to a caring neighbor.
-Hostage-themed party to cover the ugliness.

The goldfish continues to do nothing for me, though. I wouldn't miss him if he were gone. GRADE: A-

I waited 20 minutes for a twist. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to come.

Then the Iranians casually expose the fact that they themselves are racist.

Hilarious! :D

That joke made the episode for me.

Hey, I think I can enjoy American Dad if I just accept the fact that Stan is not a good guy and never will be. A month ago I would've been horrified when Francine pulled a gun on him, but now I'm used to it.

An okay episode. I hope the neighbors become recurring characters. Golden Turd was funny at first but lasted WAY too long (I almost thought they were going to end the episode on that). So Stan's a vigilante that can be sent to jail now? Some perks he gets from the government.

I used to agree with you there. He did have a joke in this episode, though, when he tricked Roger into running into a wall. The more that I watch the show, the more I think having him abuse everybody in the family (except Francene) is a nice touch, and besides, having a Klaus-centered epsode would just suck.

"Whether the apocalypse comes in six months or seven months!" An example of a perfectly delivered line. The delivery took it from funny to classic.

That purse-search gag was SOOOO wrong... But cleverly so. After seeing so much on The Simpsons and Family Guy, it really takes a lot for the "twist" of a gag to truly be a surprise anymore.

The part where Stan leaves the surveillance van and we see him attacking the fly had me reeling. Hilarious.

I thought this episode was absolutely hilarious. Really don't see what's not to like about it. Except for the golden turd thing, that was really more confusing than anything. But even that was enjoyable on some level. This show just gets sharper with every episode.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
